Taliban 1.0 were fighting to liberate Afghanistan from Soviet occupation without having the baggage of massive takfiri brainwashing.

Taliban 2.0 are nothing like the 1.0. They have been infested by Takfiriat, their goal is to dominate Pakistan ideologically and bring their interpretation of Islamic rule so they can extend their influence to Iran and others. PTI (actually Imran Khan himself) has always had a soft corner for the Taliban in Afghanistan and this is the "alignment" that I speak of.

This accommodation allowed them to get along with each other and the Afghan Taliban did not cause any major unrest in KPK because they could focus on Balochistan through their BLA proxies there.

Our establishment courted the Taliban for as long as they were not acting against the state of Pakistan. The day this started happening with Taliban's proxy support, Pakistan establishment pulled back its engagement. KPK has gone on its own trajectory with the Taliban for reasons that are known to everyone here.

You can blame the GHQ which is your prerogative, but it does nothing to hide the reality which is that the ground was made fertile in both Balochistan (by the local Sardars and Nawabs) and in the KPK by the political dispensation then and now to give space to anti-state actors (BLA + TTP respectively).

When a mental midget former airmen with all his mental faculties tied to impressing a gawalmandi nani is made the head duffer, than you will continue to see incidents after incident like these on a daily basis with zero accountability. In any respectable security/miliary outfit multiple layers of heads would have rolled by now but duffers addicted to plots and crushing unarmed civilians continue living life in all it's opulence.

What accountability?? Do you think some officer told those soldiers to not carry their guns and be completely defenseless when somebody rides up on a motorcycle and starts shooting at them?

This goes on with Police and FC posts all the time. Clearly troops were not in stand-to position with weapons at the ready. They were walking around without their weapons.
All of the ambushes against Police happen in similar ways. Hapless police and troops unaware of their surroundings etc.

The BLA terrorists probably had chaddar wrapped around to avoid detection and opened fire after closing in to the post.

No one has seen the "400 bodies" but everyone with a functioning brain can see these public statements being given out on a daily basis from Afghanistan. No hue and cry now?

Bunch of cucked Pakistanis always coming up to defend kunis and no one utters a word about the daily years long bloodbath our boys have been through.

Saw alot of similar posts on insta today too, dawah bros and ummah chumma guys crying about 400 bodies and then turning off comments.

Pakistan should just keep hitting them, the rabble can keep feeling the pain
 
One point. For good or bad, this campaign in Afghanistan is allowing Pakistani forces ample training in use of drones in actual operations. Deployment at scale, dealing with fatigue in crews operating the drones, refinement of doctrine, strategy and tactics, all will be getting better and that bodes positively for any future situation with India.

Against a numerically superior India, a successful Pakistani UAV doctrine could be the key difference in eroding the Indian advantage.

Not only that look at how terribly that post is setup, they are standing completely in the open without any cover, this is how a checkpoint should be set up with barriers and watchtowers.
