This is quite an accurate assessment of the situation to be honest and does say what some here have said, essentially any regime that is not actively hostile to Pakistan will lose popularity in Afghanistan to the extent they'd even join ISIS.

Why spend so much on these idiots, when we can exploit and humiliate them using lot cheaper means. They do not deserve our respect and our kindness. We should be a changaiz khan for them, a wrath for their ill deeds. A fist up their hypocrite rears.
Only afghan women who marry Pakistani men of their religion should be given asylum and citizenship. The rest can go suck indian hindu sack of beans while they get killed at our hands.
And for gullible Pakistanis, if they side with these hypocrites, state should put them in prison for treason, these hypocrite afghans have an unconditional historical love for hindu india, a mortal enemy of Paksitan.
If I could I would make sure that our two india loving neighbors are fully weakened and degraded. It is happening and the hands of others and I would facilitate it. Kind of payment in kind for the harms they inflicted on Pakistan in past, the insults they threw and how silent they remained when innocent Pakistanis were being killed everyday.

This guy is vehemently Anti Pakistan. Anything he says is laced with venom, he is very critical of Pakistan and his "ANAL ysis" of Operation Bunyan Marsoos was the perfect example of why certain western analysts will always have a bee in their bonnet about Pakistan.
He openly labels Pakistan a frenemy of the USA and his gamification around this should be a reminder to people here not to openly consume one sided "ANAL ysis" from such sources without counter-balancing it what is said in our own internal circles.

I don't think Pakistan has the ability to en force a buffer zone. Otherwise, work would have started by now. I remember that it took tens of thousands of deaths to finally erect a fence. I am afraid, this is the best we will get. Periodic attacks into Afghanistan.
