Yeah why are Taliban not protecting Pakistan's interests as we have been lectured about for last 30 years ? Every time supporting the Taliban was questioned in the past, that was the standard answer by Fauj and its propagandists.

Could it be the entire policy of supporting the Taliban was bad ? From the beginning ?

There needs to a clear military object and political objective on how to handle this entire operation against the Taliban and terror networks spread across it. You cannot half heart this effort

Hell I would start with striking indian shipments. Deter the Jeets from sending their stupid cargo planes to Afghanistan. Ban all Afghan registered flights over Pakistani airspace would be another thing
