I hate to say this but Pakistan doesnt lack the resources to defeat the Taliban or Afghanistan, but it does lack the balls and mental clarity.

the kind of deterrence needed against such a people will require wiping out their villages and collective punishing their supporters, and being indiscriminate. But Pakis have no balls and are a massively insecure cowardly nation so they have a habit of sucking up to their killers/enemies too. Lack of dignity or self respect means theyll rather get slaughtered and do nothing.

A country like China, India or Turkey facing this threat would have unleashed serious brutality

When we clearly know that India is behind all this, why are we not retaliating especially by launching a military attack. Something doesn't add up here, if we had such spectacular success in the last skirmish, we ought to teach them a lesson which they won't forget.

The framing here is entirely wrong.

India is a partner of a willlingly hostile Afghanistan, its not magically mindcontrolling afghans to launch attacks and they are innocent.

theres a big difference here, it means that the afghans are the primary problem because they hate for pakistan means theyll hold hands with anyone.

this means the solution is treating afghanistan like an enemy. On the topic of India, well ofc theyll be reluctant, it is a huge country and starting that war would be destructive, but its coming anyway with the water stoppage in IWT.

I agree with you. It's not India. 90% is Afghans own feelings and resentments. I am actually very sympathetic to Afghanis because I've met many of them and I've witnessed some very unfair deportations from Pakistan

However it is also true that they are now looking for better weapons/training and India is a great avenue for support.

Afghans once looked to the Soviets for support, India in the past too, they are the problem. Infantilising them by taking away their agency is retarded, it is still a country with opinions and ideologies guiding its actions, often a lot more logical than anything Pakistan has which is usually brain rot.
