also u disinginous **** , afghani goverment was also trying to ally with india , so we would have had commie country allied with india ( just after 71 )on our west( which actually was very well armed courtesy of soviet union, and which never abandoned the claim on our lands since 47 but pls ignore those historic facts ) and india with nukes on our east
pls look at this and tell me does this not cause u alarm

the war was justified and we had reasons to get involved , what wasnt smart were the years after where we got too opportunities and had dreams of recreating the success
we had reports written by good people in the army where they highlighted the exact same problsms we have today , but as usual those smart pakistanis were pushed out and ignored .

I think nuclear bombs are useless because it can't be used in an actual conflict especially in case where there is Power balance. Nor it can stop a suicide bomber to explode in a crowded market. These weapons has made entire nation lazy. They believe in this imaginary security because of these nukes. In reality there isn't a even a single day when we aren't losing any soldiers to terrorism. Look at other nations like Turkey, china. They have moved far ahead in each niche technologies that atleast can save their people from zombie mujahideen and separatist ethno terrorist.

The Afghans may set off a bomb here or there but Pakistan is destroying the Afghan nation and whilst we don't have any territorial desire on Afghanistan, Pakistan should be ready to cease the Wakhan if afghans act more stupid or if they collapse

like I said you shouldn't have allowed them in the first place. This is what happen when you have a tinpot dictator ruling Pakistan... it was true in 1980s , even more so today

Had Pakistan run by institutions this would never happen.

Why?

because institution have what they call "institutional memory" ... So when Soviets invaded A-stan before our leaders would do any thing to "help" the afghans .. the institutions would have reminded the long list of Afganistan's follies such refusing to recognize Pakistan, its support of subversive element in the 1950s and 1960s etc

smart people prevent problems from happening.... dumb people create problems then explain with long words how "intelligently" they are trying to solve the problem

you people never learn..

The afghandus/taliban have murdered 10s of 1000s of Pakistani civilians. It's about time Pakistan started killing afghandu/taliban civilians. An eye for an eye. F**k world opinion. Pakistani lives matter.

Every international media outlet except Pak media says that civilians are killed in Pak strikes.

I have no sympathy for any Afghan... period.. I have had enough run ins with them...

however we need to do things smartly

The international media also supports the Gaza genocide on behalf of the colonialists and zionists. Should Pakistan start doing that too?

Please remember, the more dead afghandus, the less the number of suicide bombers.

No mess whatsoever. It is far more probable that when the western media excitedly over-reports these episodes, we very likely hit HVTs and struck some civilians who were human shields of talibs, thus drawing complaints from the Kabulite regime and their Indian handlers. This is frequently going to be the case because their ordnance repositories and HVTs are embedded in civilian zones. It doesn't really make us look "bad" because - rightly or wrongly - nobody in the west actually gives a damn.

We should continue as we are doing and even escalate our aggression and objectives in a stepwise manner. We can continue to do this professionally, reminding the press that we are targeting terrorists and furthermore, providing them with specific rebuttals for each of their wild accusations. Tbh, this is precisely what we have been doing, notwithstanding the pause in recent months. Perhaps it genuinely was a fuel issue that slowed us down?

We are back on the front foot now.
