Balochistan is sparsely populated, but KP and the afghani ethnocentrism is directly against the concept of Pakistan and the underlying problem is a chunk of the KP and the tribal areas follow this ethnocentrism

You know one of the most disappointing interactions I ever had in my entire life was with a young lady from a very influential family from Peshawar. This was after the 2010 floods and I was tasked with creating a needs-based assessment based on information from smaller NGOs operating in Nowshera and other parts of KPK in terms of what they are providing and what is needed like tents, meds, food, hygiene products, WATSAN etc.

So off I go with my laptop and start talking to various little NGO run IDP camps and relief camps. I meet this young lady who is running an NGO providing free tents just on the outskirts of Nowshera and what she said during her conversation still remained with me.

"YES, some Punjabi migrant families came to use for tents, we turned them away, because they can just drive down to Taxila and get help from their own people"... I wanted to slap her across her face, but I kindly just reminded her of the first principle of humanitarian work:

But brother the whole point of this long post, is people like this DO exist, not all of them but some. When you fall down the trap of claiming Meh Punjabi tu Pathan... That is when you have lost the plot.

Correct, the biggest problem we have in schools these days is the lack of focus on Pak studies and Islamiyat!

This needs to be addressed ASAP. Also, Pakistan needs to strengthen it's national institutions so that they serve the interests and wellbeing of ALL Pakistanis. That way they will feel more of a sense of belonging to Pakistan and hence increase their patriotism and Pakistani nationalism.
