Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

A group of officials and politicians from the former Afghan government, who have been living in exile since the Taliban's return to power, have been in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, for the past two days, meeting and holding discussions with officials of that country.

An informed source told Independent Persian that the members of this delegation include Nithar Ahmad Ghooriani, former acting minister; Alam Saee, former member of parliament and governor of Jowzjan; Mobarez Rashidi, former deputy minister of Information and Culture; Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, former speaker of the House of Representatives; Nasim Mobariz; Eqbal Safi; Haji Almas Zahed, former member of the House of Representatives; and Rahmatullah Yarmal, former governor of Zabul.

According to this source, the members of this delegation are discussing the current situation in Afghanistan, the presence of terrorist groups on its soil, and the consequences of Afghanistan becoming a haven for these groups during their meetings with Pakistani officials.
