Russians don't and won't ever care about Pakistan. In fact Russia would like to have that sweet revenge for the cold war defeat it suffered in Afghanistan as Soviet Union. They will support the Afghan Taliban on the behest of India and provide any material support directly or indirectly (like through Belarus), which will be financed by India. This is inevitable and and its hard to stop it, and Pakistan did had few opportunities during its escalations with Kabul where it could have located and taken out TTP HVT or leadership, but it failed to do so. If they can't take out TTP leadership, then this will go on for a long time, because if you kill one local commander, then it will definitely be replaced by another.
