Now when the Afghanis are trained on US Weaponry. They can get those from Israel or India or from black market or elsewhere. Secondly, they have been taught by Indian special forces/agents, and now they will be having afghani instructors in their own ranks to train the local youth in native language.

What will make a difference ? No not a nuke.
But
the correct use of technology by Pakistan. AI analysis like looking at locations, timings, days, strengths in numbers, weapons of choice, infiltration tactics etc. Use the data to analyze and use this information against them.
This will nullify the element of suprise.

Its possible to avert the suicide bombings through correct use of AI, data and Deep learning.

I think tactically Pakistan needs to impose the QPQ+1 on Afghan Taliban too. Each provocation should be responded to with an overwhelming response on military/government targets inside Afghanistan.

I think the soft-glove approach in the Pakistani establishment for the Taliban rulers is because they still feel they need to manage the relations. It is hard to say why the Taliban leadership has been spared from attacks and in all likelihood it is because there may be conversations ongoing.

The best option would be for the other side to resolve this with talks. With 6 million more refugees making their way back to Afghanistan, economically things are really tough, but the expansionist mindset of the Taliban persists.

I am for treating Afghans with dignity, as equals (as any nation expects to be treated), however they need to show responsibility in reigning their proxies in TTP. Without this, QPQ+ has to be implemented in letter and spirit.
