The Taliban are aiming to infiltrate Pakistan through conventional means. Their alleged "battlehardedness" means nothing when they are the ones attempting to advance through conventional means, rather than their area of expertise which is hiding in Afghanistan and performing ambushes on occupying forces.
Pakistan is not occupying Afghanistan and likely has no intention of doing so.
The experience that the Taliban have is ill suited to this conflict, whilst Pakistan have specifically trained and prepared their arsenal for this exact type of fight

No Invasion into Indus valley has happened the other way only from via Afghanistan into the Indus valley and then India and it is for a reason.

Conventionally if they wanted imho they could blitz Islamabad and rawalpindi and besiege within a day. They will definitely won´t be on the defensive either but offensive

Erm that would be my Turkic kin who conquered the region and went Eastwards. That's not the current Taliban or their fighters.....

That being said this is all stupid. Nearly half of Afghans hate the Taliban i.e. non-Pashtun groups, and among the Taliban there are splits on how to deal with this.
Also Pakistan is in a mess with the oafs from PML controlling it with their military backers.
