Reports from Afghanistan suggest that one major cause of the ongoing clashes is Gul Bahadur group’s role in tipping off Pakistani security forces about TTP positions.
In recent months, several Noor Wali faction formations near the Pak-Afghan border have been targeted, inflicting heavy losses on the TTP.
According to Taliban sources, Noor Wali’s group discovered that Gul Bahadur men were taking money from Pakistani forces in exchange for revealing TTP hideouts and movements.
This triggered fierce infighting, with both groups now openly attacking each other.
For the first time, they have begun assaulting each other’s homes, raising fears that their own women and children may become victims of the bloodshed.

UN, China, Pakistan voice concern over terrorist presence in Afghanistan

KABUL (TOLONews): Although the Islamic Emirate has repeatedly denied the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, Pakistan’s representative to the UN Security Council, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, once again claimed that TTP, ISIS, and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) are operating from Afghan soil.
Speaking at the same UN Security Council meeting on “Threats to international peace and security caused by terrorist acts – Security Council meeting,” China’s representative also called on the Islamic Emirate to take action to eliminate terrorist groups in Afghanistan.
The Chinese envoy further urged regional countries to make use of existing initiatives, such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), to strengthen regional counterterrorism efforts.
At the meeting, Vladimir Voronkov, UN Under-Secretary-General for Counter-Terrorism, also claimed that ISIS-K poses a growing threat from Afghanistan to Central Asian countries.
The Islamic Emirate, however, has maintained that ISIS has been suppressed in Afghanistan and that no country currently faces any threat from Afghan soil.
If Afghanistan doesn't listen and stop Indian sponsored terrorism into Pakistan, we need to try to assemble a UN based coalition and target terrorist infrastructure inside Afghanistan. I think the US and EU will side with us as they've spent 21 years in Afghanistan wasting trillions of dollars. This way a larger area clearance operation can be done with international forces.
Gul Bahadur and Northern Alliance should be utilized to create a 200-300 KM buffer between Pakistan and the Indian trained butchers. Afghan government doesn't want to listen due to Indian money so we need to do it this way.

Kabul tries to pin blame for ‘drone strike’ on Pakistan

KABUL: At least three people were killed and seven wounded in two separate incidents in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar and Khost provinces, which Afghan authorities claimed were strikes carried out by Pakistan.
There was no official word from Islamabad, and Afghan authorities did not provide any evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in the incident, either.
Islamabad has repeatedly warned Kabul to prevent its soil from being used to stage attacks in Pakistan, and that it is fully capable of targeting terrorists who carry out such attacks.
Quoting Afghan authorities, the Reuters news agency reported on Thursday that three children were killed and several others wounded when ‘drones’ hit the home of one Haji Naeem Khan in Khost’s Spera district, near the border with North Waziristan.

Meanwhile, Afghan officials claimed that four sons and two wives of a man named Shahsawar were among those injured when his house was destroyed in Nangarhar’s Shinwar district.
The Taliban foreign ministry said in a statement that it strongly condemns the violation of Afghanistan’s airspace, and that the bombing of civilians such irresponsible actions will inevitably have consequences.
It said that a protest note was formally handed to Pakistan’s ambassador, Ubaid-ur-Rehman Nizamani, during a meeting in Kabul on Thursday.
Pakistan has targeted terrorist camps in Afghan territory in the past: most recently in December last year, when Pakistan jets bombed positions in Paktika province, targeting members of the proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
At the time, the Foreign Office had avoided directly commenting on the claim, but admitted that Pakistani forces conducted “operations in border areas to protect the people of Pakistan from terrorist groups”.
A number of cross-border infiltration bids have also been foiled. In April of this year, ISPR claimed killing at least 54 terrorists who were trying to cross into North Waziristan.
Then, earlier this month, at least 50 attackers were killed trying to cross from Afghanistan into Balochistan’s Zhob district.
Recent negotiations between the TTP and tribesmen in border districts have also laid bare the reality of their chain of command, as the militants repeatedly sought time to consult their leaders in Afghanistan.
