Indian oligarchs received $16 billion in excess profits from Russian oil​

The US has announced the super profits of Indian oligarchs from the purchase of Russian oil, which is processed and sold, in particular, to the EU.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant said this in an interview with CNBC, writes Bloomberg.

According to him, some of the “richest families in India” have benefited from the purchase of Russian crude oil.

“They are simply making a profit. They are reselling. This is what I would call Indian arbitrage – buying cheap Russian oil and reselling it as a commodity. Some of the richest families in India have received $16 billion in super profits,” Scott Bessant emphasized.

In turn, Kpler oil market analyst Matt Smith explained that India buys Russian oil at a discount due to sanctions, processes it into gasoline and diesel fuel, and then sells the product to countries that have imposed sanctions against Moscow, in particular to Europe.


India became the largest buyer of Russian oil in July, importing 1.5 million barrels per day, according to Kpler. China is the second largest buyer of Russian oil, importing about 1 million barrels per day last month.

It should be noted that imports of Russian oil into India have increased sharply since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Before the attack, India imported negligible amounts of Russian oil.

The Chinese told the Indians in the first two meetings that if India wants to establish good relations with China and strategic trade deals, India needs to first show respect and restraint towards ALL Chinese interests. Including, ending war mongering towards Pakistan immediately, end terrorism into Baluchistan through proxies and respect Chinese interests in CPEC and agree to join in at a later date.

As a result the Indian media was told to back off from that daily hate speech against Pakistan. Now they are all singing "China India Friendship" zindabad, when just 4 weeks ago, they were preparing for a two front war against the SAME Chinese and Pakistan. So they made a U turn on their entire foreign policy in a matter of weeks! This is an example as to why you can't trust these people. They are not stable.

S-400's lost components have been provided and deliveries have commenced for additional units urgently procured.

Indian airforce is going in an over drive, this time, doing exercises in Ladakh region. One of the excuse they made up for losing Rafales was that the J-10C had been practicing in the Kashmir region and knew the terrain well. Now Indian pilots who will participate in the next conflict will be given extensive experience on this terrain. Chatter also says the trainers are Israelis this time as Modi's lost trust in Indian airforce trainers and war planners.

If there is an indian attack, Pakistan needs to mass attack indian economic and civilian centres so that the indian public feels the pain of war with Pakistan.
