But what did he do that made him persona non grata ? He should have been the CAS but then he would have pushed for f16s rather than j10s given hisbf16 background and also he was air attaché to US which also made him pro American

Every one has faults, me more than anyone else I know. He served his country to the best of his abilities, and did a spectacular job. Today everything else is irrelevant.
