Pakistan Air Force Group Captain Asim Martyred While Rescuing a Woman
Pakistan Air Force Group Captain Asim was passing along Ninth Avenue, Islamabad, when he noticed a woman attempting to get off a motorcycle while the rider was forcefully pulling her back.
Acting as a responsible citizen, Group Captain Asim turned his vehicle around and stopped near the motorcycle. The woman immediately ran to the other side of his vehicle to seek safety.
At that point, the suspect, identified as Saad, began verbally abusing Group Captain Asim before opening fire on him. Group Captain Asim sustained critical injuries and later embraced martyrdom, while the suspect fled the scene.According to the police, the woman stated that the suspect was her colleague at work.
He had offered to give her a ride to the office but allegedly changed the route and attempted to take her elsewhere against her will, leading to a struggle between them.
The woman said, "Group Captain Asim intervened just in time and saved me."Law enforcement agencies are currently conducting operations to arrest the suspect.Group Captain Asim is survived by his wife, a daughter, and a son.
