That is a big increase if true!!!! Is there any local ToT on this deal, or all off the shelf ?

Given the evident threat posed by FPV drones, it's concerning that this artillery system features exposed ammo storage, making it susceptible to being rendered inoperative by just one drone strike.

FPV drones operate on 2.4 and 5.8 ghz, easily jammed.

Besides, a single strike would most likely render this system inoperable regardless of exposed ammo or not.

the recent conflict between Russia and Ukraine highlights a crucial reality: the notion that sheer quantity of weapons can ensure victory is a fallacy. The indiscriminate deployment of weapons, particularly advanced ones like electronic warfare systems (EWs), is not a feasible strategy. EWs are incredibly expensive assets, and their widespread deployment is financially unviable, especially for a country like Pakistan with limited resources.

This isnt Type -59, which has a much longer barrel. I fired one of these two decades back. Btw, from where were they coming?
Taxilla (probs HIT)…. Not sure if they were from a storage unit or had some work/maintenance done there.

And someone also posted this M198 yesterday. Albeit looks like it was heading back from repairs.

Saw this as well… there were about 5 or 6 in the transport convoy. Mostly the ones I posted the pictures of.
