What I didn't understand about this was a foreign customer wanted us to develop and produce this howitzer for them, and apparently it's now being delivered
BUT multiple states produce this type of thing, it's not like it's some sort of radical new technology
So why go down this path where they ask Pakistani military to take this path

It's just confusing

Cheap stuff!.

Cheap stuff!.

Even that doesn't make sense, how expensive would a howitzer be especially considering development costs, their may be even multiple second hand howitzers available

It's just confusing unless it does something special or we just needed it for ourselves and another country jumped on board for the program

This is not the reason why they were given to us by that customer.

I'm not sure what your trying to say?

Am I right in saying that a foreign customer had asked us to produce a howitzer for THEM and at this point it's only for them

Is their any more information beyond this?

Nopes. It was not about the product afterall. But the objective for which these guns were brought in, was achieved,
Pretty weird scenario as to who made these guns and who owns them and almost no info.
Any way i think we should clarify that HIT is still working on a "Artillery gun" for a different customer and that mystery customer was one whom Panzerkiel had actually been referring to, while these 9 guns just popped out of now where for someone else.

P.s there was also tender released by HIT few months ago for 2 x Muzzle velocity radar and 2 x Inertial Navigation systems for whatever new artillery prototypes they are making.

Of course.
That was where there was a rude shock, and a permanent post-traumatic stress disorder.
I see no reason why even an average opposing battle-field commander would not see these possibilities, and work with them as working concepts in planning his engagement.
*Average* fredo you break my heart

Brought in for testing purposes just like the Z - 10 helicopters and sent back with the feedback and further improvements needed?
