PAF Conducts successful test of indigenously developed FAAZ BVRAAM

Pakistan is in even a smaller group of only few countries that have operationalised an anti ship ballistic missile .

So any one having doubts Pakistan definitely have capabilities to build a BVR on its own

But since there is absolutely no point of re inventing a wheel , parts can be taken from friendly sources instead

Which anti ship ballistic missile ?

entire world had underestimated our JF-17 Thundering Birds.....but its proven its not some toy and can do wonders with the right weaponry and support.
This Faaz deployment and the previously used CM400AKG to take out the S400 are proof.

Congratulations to everyone, its another great achievement for our young nation.
Continue to send shivers down the enemy spine!!
Hats off to everyone involved in the process of these new weapons.

As always and forever, PAF Zindabad. Pakistan Paindabad.

Bahi, F7s were retired in 2023, even PGs are expected to be retired soon.
I know it would be an unpopular opinion but can't PGs be used(once they are to be retired from active service) as trainers?
With F7s retirement..it means plenty of spare parts to keep PGs going for longer in terms of a jet powered trainer for new pilots as they move up from mushaq and K8. It would allow PAF to kick the can down the road from having to acquire a trainer in the category of something like M346...
...it would free up some capital to be used in the short term for other needs.

i may be wrong but oscar said that it was central pylon on mirage which it was active . am talking about sd 10 . i dnt know about faaz .
its a news for me if faaz is tested on mirage.
Mirage is a testbed for every new weapon of PAF and it's central weapon pylon is wired for it.

Yes remember there was a news of SD-10 testing with Mirage jet as well.

Sad and unfortunate to see the mention of the "Field Marshal". This missile will be the product of at a decade or more of development work by many hundreds of professionals well before the "Field Marshal" entered the scene.

At times like this the "Field Marshal" should learn to temper his narcissistic personality disorder syndrome so that others should not suffer it or sully the achievements of others.....

100%. Unfortunately, current setup had no remote chance of coming into in power, they believe they can continue securing their job if they can keep the boots shinning. Day and night, the puppet PM is rhyming about FM to the point of embarrassment. I'd have died in shame being their supporter at this point.

There's literally zero contribution of FM in Faaz development. Its a slap on the face of all those who really deserved credit.

I wonder if PAF has any plans for a loyal wingman type of drones that can carry two of the FAAZ missiles ? will be very helpful for pilots, and overall war effort against taking out Indian 2nd tier fighters like Mirage 2000, mig-29's and Teja bhai if it flies.

Common

Are we going to play this game
What was anza??
Do you think Pakistan has any industry to develop the seekers and electronics
You have no clue what Pakistan can make in house most here dont. Yes, some parts are imported, everyone does that. Even the US imports Chinese components for its defence industry. That does not make the entire missile Chinese, nor does it mean there are no local alternatives or redundancies. stop undrestimating your own country.
