Likewise does that mean that Pakistan had been using F-16s all those years without Link 16s?

The defence deal with KSA might have a silver lining, payment for new build or upgrade comes from the sands of arabia!! Or the enhanced number of J-10's will be procured through funds secured through the pact!!

I am not sure it is that silver ... I haven't seen any substantial advantage to PAF or Pakistan yet due to the deal with KSA. for one i was hoping to get massive financial impetus from KSA
