Unsure what signal this sends, could be Trump and US Mil taking terror threat in Afganistan seriously again, could be a big finger to India (unlikely) or could be a way of trying to push forward an F-16V buy.

No more F-16's. They can be easily stopped, blocked etc by another US government. Also they are now dated against fifth gen.
The money should be used for keeping them in good nick.

Maybe an upgrade won't go amiss. But it's time to leave this saga.
Aid cuts, Indian protests it doesn't matter. Pakistan is in a vital strategic locality, and that will forever be. If only they had good leadership to navigate it, but alas morons hold the reigns.

These funds, are by them, for them. We get nothing financially.

If TST is pulled out, then the vipers stop flying.

They are not warming up, just insuring TST stays in theater.

That is a lot for end user monitoring.

I imagine this is a sign the US wants Pakistan to continue to fly the F-16 or that the contractors for the TSTs just lobbied to make sure this spend was released
