Is the future of PAF F-16s in the A2G role and EW role, possibly with long range Turkish HARM munitions, and jamming pods like the EDPOD?

Any indication the PAF F-16s can already integrate these tow systems? Also any indication the Turks are working on an equivalent to the AARGM-ER?

Hi,

The F16 mafia in the Paf would like to keep them because it gives them & their families trips to the USA---.

With chinese aircraft---the trips to china---may not be most attractive posting.

Yeah, there is always that perk of the job. Probably why the PAF will want the V upgrade. Keep that link to the US open (at nearly any cost?). Good geo-strategically (and personally ).

Why haven't they been going to USA lately and why are many converting (Viper drivers) to the latest Chinese types (I get a bunch of their resumes)??

The Chinese postings have been more in preference than to the US....the first group of PAF J-10 pilots were mostly from the Block 52 group including the OC.

On a sidenote, Chengdu is more developed than Dallas...

According a former PAF F-16 pilot from '80s I met, they could modify them to carry and drop nukes! So, why not these independent pods and ammos? As for controls, a wireless "controller area network" may be used....
