Even more interesting are 2 points:

1. Huitong has updated his site and says its construction number is 0215, what would correspond to the 15 built within Batch 02 J-10CE!

2. ... a friend told me yesterday it seems unlikely to be for Pakistan!
But then the question arises... who?!

id be surprised if sudan has the capabilities of infrastructure to use such an ac
Wikipedia believes delivery have started. This is what our intellect has come down to: Wikipedia! But that's getting tedious also. ChatGPT is the way to go.

Pun aside, I'll not be surprised if Sudan acquires and inducts J-10C. My only surprise would be why they didn't acquire something more cost effective? All things considered, the obvious answer of course comes down to JF-17. But there are still other options like KAI T-50, M-346, JL-9, YAK-130.

Perhaps because the Chinese offered a better credit or loan program.

We might start seeing more countries use it to finance their defence purchases and, in turn, shop from China, especially as China rolls out more next-gen equipment.

There are two ways to go about it:

1. The American way: Sell weapons to countries that have buying power or are politically relevant; in either case they can make your weapons look good and spark further interest in the hold out states of similar category to buy their weapons

2. The Soviet way: Build economy of scale versions of weapons and practically give them away to Tom-Dick-and-Harry in the third world.

Both ways would likely gain you allies and international influence but with the 2nd aspect you might lose prestige element with your weapons.

Having said the above, if Sudan has indeed procured the aircraft, it might be a Chinese strategy to counterpoise J-10C in a political environment comprising of Rafale. i.e., Pakistan-India, & Egypt-Sudan.

This is all good debate, but all are speculation; the only confirmed customer is Pakistan, and the order is not complete. Hence, using logic, I think these are for PAF.

Isnt PAF initially have the order for 25, then increase to 36, This might be one or the other order for PAF. Again my assumption only

It's multirole fighter jet Mr, and no need to come close to the targets, J10C uses stand off munitions whereas drones can't able to carry stand off munitions and defenseless against short range SAMs laser defense
SOW's are mostly effective against known stationary targets. Whereas drones can seek out and destroy mobile targets like tanks, SPG's, MLRS, SAM batteries, etc. All high value targets that J-10C patrolliing hundreds of kilometer away will be hard pressed to track and target.

No there are several SMART munitions that can destroy moving targets from the fighter jets so you're wrong
