I really hope that PAF do have plan to or in process of inducting at least 1 more sq of J-10CE of course if the pocket allows it, and Its not just about the performance but given the fact that we still have old fighter jets that are crashing, getting a full sq will replace 18 older jets with newer ones, be it air superiority or ground strike such as mirage, but we have to replace older planes.

Absolutely mirage crashed recently some guys on forum connect it with more rafale acquisition of India. It should not matter we have many sqs to be replaced of mirages and f7 pgs. GOP should at least reward PAF for this recent extraordinary performance by allorting additional funds can induct in 6+6+6 phase a new sqs of j10c.

great idea goes beyond limitations, financial or otherwise.

why do you think, so many projects end up only as 'paper projects'?

by my understanding, I think it is because of, lack of genuineness.

and if it is lack of genuineness, even if we successfully develop a 'replication', mass production wont even solve our problem, because of the nature and size of our enemies!

@JamD is better positioned to answer this, but i believe its a mix of culture, weird bureaucracy, sanctions, finances, a lack of ability to produce, a lack of expertise, etc etc, basically everything lol but JamD will give you a better look
