When I say something about J35, people tell me to wait for induction before making claims. When I say the same about Indian future inductions, people tell me not to underestimate the enemy. Pehle decide kr lein k future acquisition ko equation mein dalna hai ya nahi. 😅
Aray bhai dosro ka ghussa mujh pe kiyun nikal rahay hien. Of course future acquisition hi ke aspect se baath ker raha hoon😂

Waise do you think J35 could do this on its wings in a non-stealth configuration? Or we’d need other heavy platform if we were to have such capability. Basically a missile/PGM truck role.

It depends on what your standard requirements are for "heavy" in "heavy aero-ballistic missiles".

If your requirements aren't particularly high, then the JH-7E might be a good option.

Many people have some misconceptions about the JH-7 series fighter-bombers, believing them to be very outdated. Therefore, they should learn about the performance of the JH-7AII.
Basically if you see, these missiles are 2500 to 3000kg class.

For instance if we develop air launched version of Fatah2/SMASH.

This type of 2.5-3 ton air-launched missile can only be carried by bombers. China's H-6 bombers are available for export.

If F15 can carry this class of ALBM, JH7 cannot?

Ghussa nai kia bhai bilkul bhi. But this debate is a rabbit hole on this forum. Do we need heavy jets? If yes, can we afford them? Can our edge in stealth be used to mitigate our lack of air-launched ballistic missiles? The answers are not simple yes or no as we need to factor in economy too.
J35 can reportedly carry almost all air to surface weapons. For now, it is the only option in the current budget.

Structural design factors of individual hardpoints. Typically, while fighter jets or fighter-bombers have a high total payload, their design distributes the total load across many hardpoints. When a single heavy payload is concentrated at a single hardpoint, special reinforcement design is required. That is, this involves adjustments to the internal structure of the airframe.

So ALBM of ~500-800 km class only for now. As that potentially can be lifted on J10 hard points and dare I say even JF17 given that’s around 12-1300 Kg (supposedly same weight class as Ra’ad) without going into ground clearance aspect.

Isn't this a bit beyond your expectations?

We need a platform capable of carrying heavy aero-ballistic missiles. Any solution in that regard?
The sister aircraft of the JF-17, the JH-7A, is a good choice. It has a payload capacity of over 9 tons and an operational radius of 1600 km. We still have some JH-7As in service, mainly in the Navy, with missions to carry medium and long-range missiles to attack enemy ships.

I think the Pakistani military is not interested in this 'bomb truck.' Pakistan wants to purchase the J-16. However, due to Russian requirements and cost, Pakistan cannot obtain the J-16; it is too expensive, with the price of the J-16D exceeding that of the J-20.
