This is Pakistan's legitimate right. China's J-10CE, J-35, PL-10E, PL-15E and other air combat weapons are open to PAF. If PAF needs them, they can place orders at any time. China's military industrial enterprises can fully guarantee the quality of products and delivery time.

But, I would be very happy if PAF can place an order for J-35 this year.
Someone will buy me a big dinner for the result.LOL......

Deino, I have started to notice you have transitioned from an impartial China reporter to a Indian-biased pro-Pakistani and by extension pro-China.

I'd be extremely sorry about that, and I hope your assumption isn't just based on posting this truly great photo?

Politically, I actually consider myself neutral; I don't understand the political backgrounds and current machinations of both actors sufficiently. Even if it's true that Modi, with his nationalist-Hindu approach, de facto Nazi structures, and ideology hidden behind the label "we, the greatest democracy!", are helping the West against China, it's worrying because it's simply hypocritical.

As for my anti-Indian stance, it's more since I fundamentally hate boasting, bragging, and grandiose promises – often with a nationalist tinge – that are never achievable!

I’m guessing PAF will want at least 2 operational squadrons of the J10 to justify the maintenance & support set up. I also still believe that the 2 distinct cammo schemes are eventually intended for 2 separate squadrons. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve never before seen 2 different cammo schemes in the same PAF squadron unless it was during a transition period.

Different types of fighters serve different purposes. They have not been able to replace each other so far.

In the current air combat system, 4th/4.5th-Gen fighters cannot be completely replaced by 5th-Gen fighters. And, of course, vice versa.

Typically, a modern Air Force tactical formation consists of a mix of 4th/4.5th-Gen and 5th-Gen fighters, plus one AEW&C, and the number of 4th/4.5th-Gen fighters is usually double to triple the number of 5th-Gen fighters. You can use the fighter configuration of the US Navy's Ford-class carriers as a reference.

The 5th-Gen fighters also have a Beast mode, but they usually come without any external weapons/fuel tanks. Especially when in combat mode.

The JF-17B3 and J-10CE are also not interchangeable. Light fighters and medium fighters have their own different niche. In the PAF's daily air patrol/vigilance mission, the JF-17B3 offers a better price/performance ratio than the J-10CE, which offers a higher payload and air combat performance than the JF-17B3.

PAF's J-35, J-10CE, and JF-17B3 can be configured in roughly 1:2:3 quantities. Of course, this has to do with PAF's budget.

But what the current PAF lacks the most, is a dedicated electronic warfare aircraft (similar to the J-16D/J-15D function). Chinese social media once revealed that the J-10C has a dedicated electronic warfare improved model(Allegedly internally coded as EJ-10), however, the PLAAF did not end up equipping this type of fighter(The PLAAF employs an external electronic warfare pod for the J-10C.).PAF could consider stepping into the program. After further improvements and upgrades to it, introduce it to PAF.

The PAF chooses standoff jammers in the form of bizjets because simply- they're better. They dont need fighter based jammers because the use of stand off jammers creates a widespread corridor outside of adversary MEZ. Also offering full spectrum protection.
Using J-10 based electronic attack platforms are at best useful for escort duties and also SEAD- But the PAF can once again, use dedicated SOJ's for this exact purpose, for any deep strike missions, they will rely on external pods to provide escort jamming.

PAF's last order totaled 20 J-10CEs, all of which have been delivered.
As of now, there is no reliable information that PAF has placed an additional order for the J-10CE.

Of course, I don't rule out the existence of hidden orders.

If any of you have a professional-grade satellite imagery service, keep an eye on the production plant tarmac. ------ Production of the J-10CE has been moved from the CAC Chengdu factory to the Guiyang factory.

There have been no recent developments in Chinese social media.

The order of J10ce is placed by Imran Khan goverment, he is a true hero of Pakistan people and a great friend of Chinese people.

The PAF could also look at augmenting the SOJs with decoys equipped with jamming equipment. These smaller jammers can accompany the fighters while also doubling as small cruise missiles. Pakistan already has the inputs to make this happen.
