I believe PAF wouldn't bring up the infrastructure at another base with just the two squadrons, not just yet. Thunders can be rotated anywhere instead to make room at Kamra. Sargodha is a no go, as it is heavily crowded already and serves as the hub of everything PAF already. If PAF wants to operationalize an existing airbase in the south with J-10s in the future, Rajanpur is a not bad either, however its a ghost town as I am told.Would be interesting where they decide to base them - I feel Sargodha is now a bit too close for comfort to the border.
If money were no object (and it is the biggest object) along with security for the overall province having a airbase at Di Khan would be good centric point for putting both HVAAs and J-10c there.
The area provides workforce, has enough lines of communication and then also depth from most standoff systems.
While there is Nasirabad coming(whenever it does) - it might be ideal to put an actual MoB at Naal - behind the hills. So Nasirabad can work as FoB while Naal works as MoB.
Although I am sure families would be delighted to hear that "Naal ki posting ayi hai"

J-10CE is still working as a stand-alone system and NASTP is now working towards integration of J-10CE and potentially J-35AEs with Pakistani Ecosystem. And hence the idea that J-10CEs were not working with Erieyes during the may conflict.
Those will come surely but can't say when.Still no word of 2nd batch of J-10's ?
dont think additional units are needed for now until more rafales turn up.Those will come surely but can't say when.
I'm not certain what logic that is...dont think additional units are needed for now until more rafales turn up.
yes exactly why spend billions on a fighter jet that are only gonna sit there looking pretty? the current inventory of j10's is sufficient enough to keep the rafales at bay. once a contract for more rafales is place then you'd find more j10's come in soon, good thing with the Chinese is speed. getting the birds and getting them to an operational condition is fast as the infrastructure is already there and id assume the cockpit layouts is similar to the jf-17I'm not certain what logic that is...
What, we have to beef up our inventory based on our Neighbor's purchases?
only the mirages would get deplated and they could essentailly be rebuild at karama. What about our squadrons that are getting obsolete?
id say when more jf-17's come in. and the j10 can supplement them. f7 and mirages wont be around by early 2030's which is when the j-35 would slowly come in.How long do you think we outta keep those Mirage III/V's & F-7 flying before we can consider replacing 'em?
