we arent getting any new jf17s only making them for exports afaik
it will take alot of time to take the deliveries and absorb a 5th gen fighter

Actually PLAAF is not the party requesting J35A most urgently, as hundreds of J20 heavy stealth fighters including latest J20A fighters powered by WS15 engines, have already been in PLAAF services, and J20 fighters including latest J20A are in quality and quantity sufficient to handle F35 fighters deployed to face China.
However, naval J35 is in higher demand to fill growing PLAN carriers flying wings.
Nevertheless, if the first J35AE batch required by PAF, as many said, is not big, it should be no issue to supply those J35AEs in small number to PAF by end of this year.

Rumors indicate that production line is being expanded, however it's not confirmed but given that the main aim of Jf17 was to meet our own defense needs first, I believe they are true... Operationalising measures are put in place well before the induction of the aircraft so we'll absorb that beauty just fine....the museum pieces exist on both sides and theirs are even worse, but I excluded them from my analysis anyway, excluding our F7s and their jaguars, the gap is 120+/- aircraft and those are mostly Su30s but then it all comes down to who closes the kill chain first, and if the previous skirmishes are anything to go by, I believe it'll be us

If there were PAF pilots training on it, news would have leaked from the inner circles. But a visit to the factory in flight suits often gets assumed for that they were there for flight training.....

Assuming Pakistan gets 2 squadrons of J-35s.....and assuming J-35 stealth is at least as good as F-35 and hence it is really invisible to radars unless really really close, it pretty much makes their S-400/Barak/Akash batteries useless.
What the S-400 can target at 400 or 250 km range, it would only be able to at say, 50 km range. In that case, PAF can lead the push, take out the SAMs and then allow more BVR enabled JF-17 BLKIII/IIs and J-10s to take out the random MKIs, M2Ks and Rafales and whatever trash like Tejas/Jaguars is flying.
If PAF gets the F-16Vs, then they too can be put and makes job even easier, because with degraded AD, PAF can use F-16 in AA and Strike roles.
Once IAF Air and AD is degraded, it is up to Pakistan on how and what to target. But all of this will need to happen within 6 hours of start of hostilities and during those 6 hours, Pakistan will need to absorb anything from Brahmos to loitering munitions.
This is why Indians are in panic mode and buying everything left and right. They have no solution to the very soon J-35 problem that Pakistan is gonna shove up their face.

I can understand being cynical here but in the wrong we have all (including you) been wrong on many assumptions so completly dismissing things off the cuff may not be right.
How many of us on the forum were expecting the official roll out of an export model so early? Zero.
