PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

In fact, I would recommend that the PAF choose China's first stealth coating technology, the one used on the J-20 fighter jet, rather than the second stealth coating technology, which is currently used on the J-35 series fighter jets.

The first type of stealth coating technology offers less effective stealth capabilities than the second type, but its maintenance is very easy. It doesn't require a specialized climate-controlled hangar or frequent coating maintenance, and there is no significant coating peeling even after prolonged use.

India does not possess advanced anti-stealth radar systems. It will be difficult for them to achieve this goal in the foreseeable future. The first type of stealth coating solution is sufficient to counter India's capabilities.

Therefore, the PAF chose to moderately lower its stealth performance requirements and instead pursue a more economical and efficient solution. Theoretically, this is a better option.

Of course, I'm not sure if AVIC would be willing to provide this solution.

I think many Pakistanis might disagree with my point of view.
All depends on OEM for coating to integrate with J-35. As long as it is available as an option it will be considered but keep in mind J-35 has to also operate from sea which has its own considerations for coating. It is possible that PAF is/has evaluated all options and will choose the best suited for where it intends to deploy the J-35 from.

Very low bar and even pointless clickbait for the X post

No - but want the idea of “authoritative” statements clear.
AI has made sounding both authoritative and influential even easier.

Ive procured a J-35 this year as well
Pretty cool for a building block model - maybe that is what is being procured for replacing that JF-17 model that broke in the AHQ meeting room so they don’t have to to show the old F-16 model and this fellow and others excited about F-16Vs

@Michael,快来救我,据这篇帖子说,100 架 J-35 的生产线已经准备好了。

why KJ500-?

we had a bad experience with ZDK-03

we should aim for KJ-700 AWACS

Yes, I think PAF will adapt. Current scheme on most fighters had close air to air combat in mind and made aircraft less visible to the human eye. Obviosuly in a 5th gen scenario that is less of an issue then for 3rd/4th gen
Couple it with an armada of the stealthy KEs doing the "foot soldiers" job! According to Selchuk Bayraktar, he can produce 20 (twenty) KEs for the lifetime cost of operating a single F16!! Moreover, he's working on turbofan engines, in JV with the Ukrainians, to make them like batteries in the smart phones!

Technically, KEs & Anka-3s are drones. So, if Bharat sends Harop like drones Pak can reciprocate by sending KEs & Anka-3s!! Just imagine the catastrophic scenario that will unfold in the air and on the ground deep inside Bharat....

It depends on how you define it.

According to official news releases, the final assembly plant for the J-35 has indeed been completed and handed over. This is the plant for the final stage of fighter jet production. It was delivered in June 2025, after which equipment installation and commissioning began. This should be completed by now.
However, the construction of other supporting facilities and industrial parks is still underway. These are the plants for producing and manufacturing components. This may take some more time.

In 2026, the final assembly plant will begin operation. However, the components will still rely on the old SAC factory, which has a low production capacity and cannot support a larger output. The production capacity will only increase after the relevant construction work at the new factory is completely finished.

In short:
In 2026, SAC's J-35 fighter jet production will begin to ramp up, and its production capacity will gradually increase. It will be much higher than the capacity in 2025, but will not reach the final designed capacity.

Why are you posting in Chinese?
