I mean money must be short, but i personally think PAF should let J-35's mature a little bit. J-10CE is battle tested, and it can replace older Mirages/F-7PG's which PAF have to eventually. If they can't afford J-10's then they can try to go for an additional JF-17 block 3 sq.

Pissraelis and bhindians will do anything. Now, India will not do anything unilaterally because they have too many crashes to investigate stemming from last year shoot downs to airshow to domestic crashes, they would definitely want to do something in a year or two. What that means is J-35 is all of a sudden needed NOW not later. J-35 can do everything J-10s can do as well plus the initial DEAD missions.

Also, where is this J-35 is not mature comment coming from? China proceeding with full rate production means its fully mature.....plus it has tech derived from J-20 (discussed at length here on this forum) which means it is mature enough.

erm - $12billion is alot of money! Guess - if this news is "true", we will have to see how many units of each platform that is. Stealth is not cheap esp since this will come with alot of new infrastructure that PAF does not currently have to support this new generation of platform !

12 Billion dollars is a lot of money, if that's the total of entire package than it will mean a big amount needs to be given to Chinese, we already making payments on other stuff we bought. So i really doubt this news to be true, unless Pakistan-KSA has come into some sort of Agreement that KSA will pay the amount on behalf of Pakistan, and this news is kept in the highest level of secrecy which I won't be surprised. We are taking shots at Israel and every year the statements gets heated, with Iran gone we may see more tensions with Israel via India/Afghanistan and Baloch axis.

So i really doubt this news to be true, unless Pakistan-KSA has come into some sort of Agreement that KSA will pay the amount on behalf of Pakistan, and this news is kept in the highest level of secrecy which I won't be surprised. In my opinion, Pakistan is not ready for 5th generation fighter. J-35 are not coming until 2030.

Be skeptic but we are more than capable of taking any new platform and quickly adopt and use it in a battlefield if need arises
