PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

I'm not sure they thought over it very well. It's Rafale, Typhoon, Super Hornet block 3 etc.

I will take more squadrons of j10cs any day then a squadron of j35 in the condition we are now.
Too much of a hassle to keep them safe knowing the condition of our AD and HAS.

PAF has more extensive HAS then IAF, nice try though

I understand what you saying. But seriously, even if we buy J-35, they will be no more than 40. So we wont be risking them being sent to Indian territory. Its a huge risk. Based on the yesterday's press conference, now we have all sort of attack LMs, we'll equipped rocket force. So do you really believe that we will be sending J-35 inside Indian territory ? I dont think so.

We should save them for flyovers during the victory parade.

I have an uncle who buys a fancy car every 3 years, keeps it parked for the next 3 while he drives his beater, and then swaps it for the next fancier model.

And it's not just about buying J-35 , we are in a mutually exclusive zone here where if we buy 40 J-35, we wont be able to afford any J-10C and JF-17 for next 3-4 years. And if we go for J-10C and JF-17, we will have to delay arrival of J-35 till maybe end of 2027.

And we all also heard CAS. There is no urgent requirement for J-35. We need it but in 2028. Maybe acquire 6, plau around it, test it. Develop tactics. And when we have funds then buy more. But acquiring J-35 in 2026, doesn't make much sense.
might be better to just stick them on chowks1778517390247.png

Weird, we only had 20 J-10Cs but still were able to both deliver a bitchslap to Indians and protect Iranians.

Indians are coping with 28 Rafails so who gives a s**t.

PAF initials batches were always small. Mirage, F-16, J-10. J-35 is a 10-15 year project

i mean, small scale skirmishes arent very meaningful, but i dont think theres any point in me delving on this here.

after all, iraqi foxbats were able to kill american jets, but i dont think anyone said that the iraqis have it all under control

Iraqi foxbat killed f-18, iranian f-5 killed foxbat. Hence proven f-5>f-18

Can we get a new aircraft carrier to deploy J-35AE? Not necessary!
Without all the steam, please.

Therefore the equation becomes:

Indians = Pigs

No, pigs actually did take down an f-16 so its still pigs > indians. Not that youll be able to tell the difference anyway

Yeah, if you are going to make comparisons make them meaningful. UK held of Argies with with a handful of harriers, PAF held of IAF with 120 Sabres and a few F-104s.

Blimey, only last year we saw what even a limited amount can do. Granted in a long war numbers count, but PAF has always had around a 3-1 odds against IAF, now it is getting more like 2-1 so actually getting better.

When we look at AESA fighters you have around 50 PAF v 28 IAF....

If the war had been long or decided by PAF to be long, PAF would have killed front line IAF fighters way faster than losing its own jets......probably close to 8-10 IAF jets shot down for one of PAF's own.

For the remaining tejas/mig/jaguar type garbage, F-16s in the back would have pounded on them with AMRAAMs like J-10Cs did to Rafales and MKI with PL15s.

Their clown ass air chief then would have been showing pieces of spent PL15 along with AMRAAMs on TV........possibly also Sidewinders/PL10s.

Again i say, IAF is in no position to go up against PAF in Air to Air combat. That day is gone.

Which is also why PAF is taking its time to decide what to procure and do next.
