Pakistan wanting J-35 for itself is not to confront India but the immediate threat posed by Israel which has demonstrated it can fly it's F-35s over Iran unchallenged.

Is Pakistan really in the operational range of israeli air force? big doubt.
And Pakistan would be another hard nut than iran air defense. Iran had nearly no air force (some F4, some few F14...) and nearly no serious SAM. Not the case of pakistan.

Pakistant is definitively not a target for israel.

I wish I could get clips of all these Indian "Defence Analysts" like Visnu Som & Co. and how (for years) they have publically made fun of the Su-57 & it NOT being Stealth and being a piece of crap.

A compilation of those clips will go so well, because all of a sudden the Su-57 just might become the forceful darling of our good Eastern neighbors.

*A personal note: when I first went to Turkey as an undergrad student I received the shock of lifetime as they were celebrating the win of a football club team with firing tons of shots from their guns in the air!! I literally ducked below my bed. And, my Turkish friends used to amuse themselves by recalling my timidity. According to their belief set, their mig-21 > F-16

and I still remember a post from an indian forum/member some 20 years ago, where one indian claimed one SU-30 can shot down 9 F-16s. Supposedly he might have heard that SU-30 can carry 9 missiles and because SU-30 is raptor of east + its Mini AWACS and what not LMAO! I mean how it must have felt that till date at any conflict all their Raptor of East has done is fallen out of sky.

Are you saying a Arm patch can't be worn on a belly, say's who? (pun intended).

Because India is buying SU57, it automatically elevates it to the Death Star status.

Nothing in the world compares to it.

Their Rafale wing commander was saying recently, that Rafale is capable of taking on J-10CE and J-35s. Literally one year after J-10CEs smashed the Rafales to bits.

If one year later they haven't learnt any lesson, they never will. They will buy, as usual, whatever and still end up embarrassing themselves.

Okay. We need to be realistic here. Rafale is an excellent fighter jet. The issue with IAF was that it didn't knew how to use it properly.


Now that, can change. Will it ? Not sure. But can it ? Hell yah.

So do not underestimate your enemy who possesses such competent platforms.

My sources are telling me that china didn't needed J-36, it is only developing them for Pakistan. Soon you will hear that Chinese have changed name of the fighter jet from J-36 to JF-36.

Nope. Primary focus is always india.

Also, stealth fighters are great for strike missions or BVR against non-stealth platforms. Stopping a stealth aircraft from its strike mission is really difficult, so even if we suppose that Israeli F-35s have to attack Pakistan then what J-35s would do about it ? Can it detect F-35s at long distance ? The F-35s would just release their stand off missiles from safe distance and leave.

J-35s would to Israel what F-35s would do to Pakistan.

Both operating stealth fighters would deter each other, making sure they don't feel like doing anything against each other.

PAF JF-17 Thunders are already in Saudi Arabia.

Well, Iran attacked Pakistan in January 2024 for no reason other than to tell it's own citizens that it's not afraid of attacking a nuclear popular.

The Pakistani response got their senses working again.

However, it doesn't stop Israel in the future from pulling a stupid stunt against Pakistan like they did with Qatar. India has done it twice now (2019 & 2025) just to get political mileage.

I guess it's best to be prepared instead of having to run around the world like a headless chicken afterwards.
