PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

They can strikes other targets rather then nuclear facilities ??
What high value target they can strike??
That we can't, The moment the attack our airbases or any other civilian targets, scores of F1,F2 and loitering munitions will be launched, and in between well positioned Al rasoobs and taimoors will be launched, next time indians won't get away with ALCM strikes.

We don't have the magazine depth compared to indians. If you loft 100, they'll fire 200. Indians did show intent and capability to strike with pinpoint accuracy. Al rasoob is just a concept and taimoor isn't available in large numbers. We never really built a true strike capability.

Btw they did strike a Saab, hangars and runways, those are all high value targets.

You dont have depth -period.
You can strike their bases close to the border with effect if needed but at the end they can (as they did) push their assets well beyond the reach of most of your systems where your lack of magazine capacity really becomes apparent.

Yeah that too loll.

Also they are increasing their missile ranges alot. In the future they can just keep shooting 1500 km nirbhay or brahmos and there's nothing we can do about it.

Our AD is also shiitee and import based. Everything is in india's favour. We are just too busy infighting over our favourite leaders lmaoo.

That's taking it a bit too far.
AD has to be imported because you did not invest in it but also because you're cash strapped more often than not so have to be selective in what you invest in.

More recently your AD was still able to compensate A LOT - for what was assumed to be a complete splattering it would take - but also because your enemy overestimated its fancy weapons while forgetting employment and systems cohesion matters more than anything.

However, local production is your laggard and will start haunting exponentially in years to come while the usual "fanboys" keep talking about "China will give it" as if the Chinese are running some philanthropy for you even when they drag your PPI execs in private "pressure rooms" to get them to readjust the debt noose you are in with them.

That is not a rant on China but your own individual selfishness and myopia in policy and planning that on and off does show up in defence procurement in ways best left unsaid otherwise this forum would be full of "the sky is falling".

AD is improving to what is at minimal possible to maintain targets -
The issue is offensive systems for which you simply do not have both money and time to scale anywhere as near as India already is.

That's where new security paradigm in the middle east is expected to come to the rescue...

This makes a lot of sense. Just my thoughts here are that China actually thinks about India much less then people imagine. They no longer see it as a threat, the main vision they see India through is as a market of 1.4 Billion people, China wants this market on it's own terms.
Pakistan is no longer seen as just a balance to India anymore, we are a physical, diplomatic and military way for China to expand it;'s influence westward. Pakistan itself is cocking that up a lot on the economic front with delays on CPEC projects, mismanagement and bad Balouch security situation. On the military and diplomatic front we have played a blinder and China is involved.

Chinese backing for Pak mediation efforts and Pak introduction of advanced Chinese systems in GCC for the first time (yes, I know GCC has some Chinese stuff already but am talking Fighter jets and SAMs).

In this light, J-35 in PAF service helps China is several ways

1) Balances India, or even to an extent makes IAF lagging behind PAF for first time ever
2) Shows world a first class air force has inducted Chinese 5th gen, and possibly provides another testing area if we go to war again
3) Opens up Mid East to Chinese kit. Like we did with J-10 expect to see J-35 exercise with close Pak allies like Qatar and Saudi who will see J-35 close up, now also remember we train A LOT of Qatari and Saudi cadets at Risalpur and we have quite a few people on deputation or as contractors in both
You make the assumption that the indian inventory as you suggest will turn up immediately and Pakistan will remain dormant with the list you have indicated.

There comes a point, where even the value of AESA radars decreases when faced with a Stealth platform! Just look at the results of missions between F-22 Raptors and Eurojets and teen series jets with AESA radars in the US.
Pakistan as a nation is already blessed with a hostile country this large yet this incompetent, any other nation with the size of India will impose multiple times threat, China is obviously not seen India as a major threat right now, I bet the PLAAF sees IAF a much less rival compared even with South Korea airforce.

IAF currently not just lacking fighter jets but all force multipliers, AWEC, ISTAR, MALE, HALE drones, Satellite assets etc...

Do you have ANY credible and genuine evidence to back up your claims above? IF what you say is true then remember to post the links here.

At the start of operation sindoor, the indians said they are going to do to Pakistan what the israelis are doing to the Palestinians in Gaza. So WHY did they stop and give up? Why did the rest of the world claim that Pakistan won the conflict?
