Unfortunately, it's the best one available for Pakistan-related issues. The forum itself is not bad, but there is a clear problem with moderation and how freely any user can post spam of random youtube videos or make ludicrous claims of J-20s landing next week. Don't take it personally, it's not a bad site, but constant claims being made is ruining the credibility and image of the community.

It has been several years since anyone mentioned that the Pakistan Air Force should buy the JH-7A.

That tweet he posted is from 2021. He's showing that green paint has been around for a long time (since at least 2021)

Would be, but PAF's budget may be an issue, it's still focused on gradual J-10C and soon J-35 induction alongside other projects. I don't know where it would get enough funds for another, twin engine heavy fighter that's expensive to operate. Then there are possible intellectual property rights issues with the Flanker design being Russian.

Probably they plan to use J-35 as a strike platform but payload is likely limited. Alternatively, may plan to use UCAVs (like Shahpar-3, or Akinci).

The issue of purchasing J-16 has been discussed many times in the past. China's "Flanker" series fighters cannot be exported because of an agreement with Russia. Therefore, the JH-7A, which is both cheap and exportable, is the best choice for the Pakistan Air Force. In the past, Mastan Khan was very supportive of purchasing second-hand JH-7A from the People's Liberation Army Air Force.

Seriously.... Its hard believe it. That Egypt is getting Chinese 5th generation fighter before Pakistan. Recently Chinese had denied the news about the sale of J-10C to the Egypt. Then why they would sale their top notch fighter jet to an American ally. Where American can easily access those top Chinese fighter.?

You can forget Egypt getting anything without nod from US an Israel. That’s what they put Sisi in charge. He doesn’t go for a whiz without their permission.

Butthurt is very much in evidence but understandable under the circumstancesTo be fair, J10 was untested too, until we tested it out on IAF

J10 Was untested until we shot down some *****.

Same will be the fate of j35.

China would rather sell this 5th gen++ JH-26 fighter/bomber to Pakistan than selling the J-16.

Since the J-16 still uses the aero frame of the flanker, and China did promise to Russia not exporting any flanker-like aircraft.

This is unproven pic, in fact PLAAF isn't interested in so called JH fighter bomber anymore, it's outdated concept.

Why are we having Twitter level Indian intellect here, I was expecting at least people that can tells the wreckage of a M88 engine here.

Question is - either you’re hyde park or you are not.
Claims cannot be constantly shut down otherwise you have zero speech because anything you disagree with you delete.
How is either approach rational?

Moreover - moderation isn’t a paid situation and people who BUILT this place have ZERO obligation from a monetary perspective to maintain standards.

They take time out from THEIR days, their lives, to both keep a balance in whatever capacity along with promoting good content including new members who bring it. It’s nowhere near perfect and not everyone is available everyday nor does everyone agree on the same approach. Not letting AI bots loose nor is it an affordable solution unless you have meta’s pockets.

Otherwise, you can be like all those “military forums” giving opinions can keep their echo chambers and 40 odd members who keep playing volleyball amongst themselves until their geriatric age.
