I believe that with the advent of 5th generation fighters, the era of near dogfights will return. Why? I think that BVR missiles will be rendered ineffective against 5th generation and higher generation fighters at long ranges. What you all think?

Turkiye is too powerful to do anything against at the moment, both economically and militarily. On top of that, the Turks (despite everything) still have diplomatic ties to Israel, so i doubt the Israelis will do anything to jeopardize that.

A response that combines ignorance and childishness.
Egypt has shifted its fighter jet purchases since 2015 to France, Russia, and China.
Egypt has been negotiating since 2022 for the Chinese J-10, J-20, and J-35 fighter jets, and is negotiating local production at the Eastern Aircraft Factory in western Egypt. Production of the J-10C will likely begin for Egypt, Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea, Tanzania, and possibly other countries in Egyptian production lines.

Egypt has requested to purchase an initial batch of 15 J-20 aircraft, regardless of China's acceptance or rejection, and whether the deal is finalized. However, Egypt has also offered to acquire the J-20's radar technology and integrate it into another fighter jet. The Egyptian negotiations are based not only on fighter jet sales, but also on comprehensive deals, such as upgrading some of the fighter jets in exchange for the sale to China of Egyptian black sand minerals used in aircraft and space equipment.

We return to the responses that reflect propaganda and stupidity. America is the one driving Israel and pushing the Gulf to apply economic pressure against Egypt. Therefore, America is effectively an enemy of Egypt, and we deal accordingly.
Egypt has rejected all American requests, from meeting Trump, to free passage of American ships through the Suez Canal, to BlackRock and the Emirates controlling the Suez Canal, to expelling the Chinese from the Suez Canal Economic Zone, and reducing cooperation.
Even American pressure to cancel military deals with Russia or even halt military cooperation with Russia. The Russians manufacture some of their weapons in Egypt and deliver them to Russia through complex methods.
We are not like the dependent states that sold ammunition and weapons to Ukraine. Had they entered a war, they would have faced a shortage of ammunition and regretted their failed decision.

With all of this rejected, a naive child comes to us and says, "Egypt is dependent on America." Egypt deals with everyone equally. The dependent states are the countries that opposed Egypt in the Baghdad Pact, and which America was instigating against India.
On the religious and ideological level, the one who will eliminate Israel is Egypt. After the war with Iran, there will be a war between Egypt and Israel, and Egypt is well aware of this.

The responses that reflect On the childishness and naivety of unacceptable, we are not ready to respond to every comment from a child or a fool to correct his ignorance and stupidity

Have met Gonky at Sanford, Florida when he was doing his A320 check rides. They are average joes. Their opinions should be taken closely to those of who are enthusiasts instead of taking them as professionals. At the end of the day they are doing this to build revenue from YouTube, much less about educating everyone.

There are other guys like Hasard Lee and Vincent Aiello that are much better to listen to.

There is an obvious trend here, the country has started to ditch the tradition confusing code name for export product.

That’s a nice comedy show from Egypt. What were they even thinking when asking for J-20 and it’s radar technology?

Help USA/Israel counter the J-20?

Chinese are not stupid to hand over their 5th Gen aircraft to Egypt.

I don't think they will sell them the J10C.

Right now Egypt needs to build a relation with china


Pakistan was sold J-10C because they were the first country to believe in chinese weapons

Egypt can be the second country to do so but they need to have ties first

The problem with funding for the armed forces is that it always becomes a territorial services political war for who gets the money and in Pakistan, it is the army that wins that fight too much.

You need a leader to say, our priority is the airforce or navy based on new emerging threats, lessons learnt, the army chief will never do that, as they have just their service interest at heart…

For Pakistan for its current threat, PAF really does need to be doubled in size.
