Its a extremely capable next gen portable EW ESM, called as Narda's Signal Shark, seen here fitted with ADFA Antenna for Direction Finding, its produced under license at NRTC I believe. The antenna is marketed as the world's most compact solution for direction finding signals from 10 MHz to 8 GHz. Also the company Narda was formerly owned by L3 Harris till 2021.

1. Signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic intelligence (ELINT): Locating and identifying enemy communication and radar sources to gather intelligence on their order of battle.

2. Electronic warfare (EW): Detecting and locating enemy jammers or other hostile electronic emissions to neutralize them or to avoid them.

3. Surveillance and reconnaissance: Pinpointing enemy command posts, troop movements, and other critical assets by detecting their radio communications.

4, Counter-insurgency: Detecting short-range radios used by insurgent groups and locating patrols and observation posts.

5. Search and rescue: Locating distress beacons or other RF signals to find personnel or equipment in distress.

6. Navigation and targeting: In some cases, DF can be used for self-navigation or to beamform energy towards friendly systems.
