Aviation Art of Rehan Siraj
An F-104A of Pakistan Airforce's No. 9 Squadron "Griffins" goes vertical over Sargodha.This aircraft serial number 56-874, piloted by Sqn Ldr Jamal A Khan (later Air Chief Marshall) intercepted and shot down an Indian Airforce Canberra on the 21st September 1965 night.
This aircraft was later preserved and installed at Sargodha AFB, Pakistan.

MIG-19 OUTFIGHTS THE MIG-21
1120 HOURS, 14 DECEMBER 1971 - SHAKARGARH
A flight of F-6s from No. 11 Squadron was on a search and destroy mission over the Shakargarh salient when Flight Lieutenant Aamer Ali Sharieff spotted four manoeuvering Mig-21s, much superior in performance to Aamer's F-6. Quickly sliding into the blind zone of the trailing Mig-21 Aamer launched his Sidewinder. The Mig-21 burst into flames and crashed.

This painting depicts the illustrious tenure timeline of the late Air Commodore (R) Syed Abid Raza's service in the Maintenance/Engineering Branch of the RPAF and later the PAF, from 1948 to 1980. His postings to various airbases, the medals he was awarded, the aircraft types he worked on, and important assignments such as Head of the Blue Flash I Project (induction of Mirage IIIE) and the first Managing Director of the F-6 Rebuild Factory are portrayed here.
