Bro, this is more emotional than logical.

I've already addressed all of these points with other people. Just go read them.

I'm not gonna argue with you.

You haven't and I've laid down very straightforward arguments.

Just an FYI, politics and national security are hand in hand for a reason. The idea that one can remove one from the other is ridiculous. Also, national security isn't just about having a big gun and being able to use it to protect your interests, it encompasses a myriad of issues.

No they are not. Internal politics has no place sitting opposite national security. Whichever party does it is opportunist at best and needs to be held accountable. Apart from the fact that I specifically pointed out that member for playing politics with it.

@F.O.X

and as always india bet on the wrong horse.

Brother Fox, may I share a somewhat more nuanced analysis. During Cold War, IND bet on the wrong horse (USSR) while PAK backed the winning horse (West). However, after Cold War IND ingratiated itself to the West while PAK fell out of favour. Now, IND has again chosen the wrong horse (USA) vs PRC while you have chosen the winning side. I won't be surprised if somehow again after stumps, IND gets on the right side of the winner (PRC).

Coming to AFG itself, IND first backed the Soviet backed regime in AFG but after the Muj came to power, IND again got into the good books of Muj. In the post 2001 chaos, IND backed another wrong horse (NA) while you guys backed the Talibs. Now see where we are.

So, while IND invariably chooses the wrong horse, it comes up trumps every time by luck (sadly the horse on which IND rides invariably meets a rather sad fate)

Regards

My suspicion is that FM-SAM has made a promise to Trump to give him Bagram Airbase. This is a regime change operation to bring in US allies who will then invite the Americans back into Afghanistan.

If the next American administration dumps Pakistan as usual and embraces Modi again then Pakistan’s goose will be cooked for the next 20 years.

I think that move would neither be in our interest nor in China’s. There is a PR factor as well, which I am quite sure the Field Marshal would never compromise on.

These ancient relics had a horrible CEP even in the 1990s and I think if the Afghans are even able to launch them, they might malfunction or just fail in mid-flight
Even if they fire one missile it means their entire leadership will have to return to the caves.....

They have the capacity to disrupt chaos send your fragile economy in freefall. it would be like civil war
You really need a stable relationship you will run out of bombs and bullets in weeks they can fight for decades with outside support ..

Your in no position to fight a guerrilla war with them ...

Yes we are

The Pakistani military is well placed to take on actual identifiable militaries

Thats not the problem, the problem is unidentifiable idiots who look like any other average Afghan committing terrorism

Afghanistan desperately needs Pakistan to give port access
It also needs Pakistan to keep it's borders open for trade and supplies
It also needs Pakistan to continue to host millions of Afghans
And so on and so on

Afghanistan doesn't have that much fuel resources
So just before winter them spending their meager resources on sending trucks to the front only to be blown up by Pakistan isn't great for them

Just before winter wasting meager Afghan resources on a conflict with a nuclear power, with air power is not good for them

Pakistan has finally had enough, war is not good, but Pakistan has no intention of letting anyone harm it's strategic interests

I will say again
Afghanistan can either play ball or suffer the consequences

It seems every enemy of Pakistan irrespective of being big or small is having a swing at Pakistan.

Disrespect of the highest order.!!

Coming from a guy whose country is a major nuisance in the region and has problem with EVERY neighbor China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldieves ....

Indeed very rich!

I would keep off the weird conspiracy theories

The U.S is not coming back, it's not in the regions interest

This is happening because after the defeat of the U.S, Afghanistan has supported terrorism against Pakistan and it's now facing the consequences of this stupidity

Bro, I'm not arguing with you. Me and @Blain2 Went through this entire argument.

Youre refusing to acknowledge it, and i refuse to reiterate myself and have the same argument.

This just proves you have no idea what national security even is.

I'm not gonna argue with you, if you don't even know the basics.

Quite strategic locations. You put "robotic" and "autonomous" AI accelerated armed check posts, along with the manned presence, as a part of the "network" supported by 24/7 "surveillance" by drones; and, you have 10s of kms wide buffer zone. Turkey has physically implemented it using the aforementioned mechanisms inside a similarly treacherous mountainous region in the Northern Iraq with a depth of 50 to 100km. It's such an inhospitable terrain that approaching them on foot and undetected would take all the energy out of the TTA.....

There're no instant gratifications in battles! The "social media" has taken the folks speed, but taken away their patience. The Bharati folks are the "Maharajas" of social media - be its usage or working in such companies by tons. Result: they lost patience after 55 mins of air warfare and 3.5 hrs of missile warfare. They wanted instant gratification.....

The KITAP is dead-set on preserving the patience during battles:

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:153) advises believers to seek strength through "patience and prayer" during times of struggle, including battles. It also mentions seeking victory through patience in a specific prayer from 2:250, which includes the words "Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people". The surah emphasizes that "Allah is with the patient" and offers guidance on how to face conflict with steadfastness and faith.
