Spot on. On the other hand, there are delulu folk who think Pakistan's strategic positions has never been stronger and that the US, China and GCC states have nothing better to do than to help the establishment without a public mandate to put out the many fires that it itself has started. The truth is that Pakistan has never before had so many fronts open where it is essentially on its own.
Brother, no one can be taken for granted. China has been a staunch supporter in the past, but all actions have consequences. The brazen bootlicking of the Americans and offering them sweetheart deals on minerals, Pasni port, etc is not going unnoticed in Beijing. Ultimately, China is going to look out for its interests over those of Pakistan and China will prefer to have peace on the border with India, so that it can focus on its strategic objectives in the east, primarily retaking Taiwan. The number of fronts are the same
It's just that they have more intensity, that's it
And this was always inevitable
Technologies are improving, old stock is laying around close to expiry, resources are tightening, populations are increasing
The region is never not at peace, however with China at least Pakistan has a staunch super power. That is a relative increase in strength
Completely implausible scenario, especially for GB. Do you know what percentage of GB residents are dissidents? India has no sway there.
I have my own issues with them, but they are prioritizing the threats - and the Indians pose a much more strategic threat. In his latest video, Prawin Sawney basically told us that India will attempt to capture parts of Pakistan (GB or Sir Creek?) to force Pakistan to tow the line. The Indians have come to the conclusion that a subdue Pakistan is high up on their agenda to become a world power. With a strong Pakistan, means outsiders are not depended on a single regional power. Also, the Indians have study what the Azerbajianis and Israelis have done - capture territorries from their enemies. Once that occurs, the Indians will never leave them. I hope everyone in Pakistan understands that you are not dealing with a 1950s Nehru (who was impartial). You are dealing with an enemy that would absolutely murder your kids and women because he hates you from the core of his darken soul. This is a blood ritual same as what the Israelis are doing to the Falastinians.Meanwhile, cowardly Generals claiming to be a nuclear power are talking to these taliban terrorists. I think this is the wrong take, I do not believe China is a possessive ally and we attribute incorrect assumptions.Brother, no one can be taken for granted. Just a thought experiment for you. Substitute Afghanistan for Pakistan, Pakistan for China and India for USA, and see if that makes sense to you.I think this is the wrong take, I do not believe China is a possessive ally and we attribute incorrect assumptions.
optics will not bother them, but of course their interests will be paramount to them
I believe that the Chinese actually welcome a softening between Pakistan and USA, because it helps Pakistan's viability and national strength
China also does not necessarily want Pakistan to put all its eggs in one basket, so diversification is not unwelcome.
Nothing tangible has really even happened between Pakistan and the USA anyway
be careful, our friends on the forum will come at your throat, in their eyes china in ke baap ka naukar hai joh kuch bhi karnay ke liye tayyar hai...but it is delusional to think China will sacrifice its own interests for Pakistan.
India does not have that will power, Pakistani people just over estimate them.I have my own issues with them, but they are prioritizing the threats - and the Indians pose a much more strategic threat. With all due respect, you have no idea of what you're talking about.India does not have that will power, Pakistani people just over estimate them.
pakistanies are still living in Past, in 1948, 1965 and 1971 two ex british army soldiers faced each other they had same training same professionalism because both of their officer were ex british army soldier so Pakistan did not have any edge, but now situation is changed, there is no ex british raj officer anymore. for the very first time indigenous Indian and indigenous Pakistan army faced each other in Kargal, 2001 stand off, 2019 dog fight and 2025 conflict and we all have seen the result. Indian morale start crumbling once there is even small damages and casualties are being inflicted on them.
Their soldiers do not have will to fight nor they have risk appetite for a war where so many casualties are being inflicted.
Even Indian population can not hold their morale.
As long as they do not supersede us with huge technological gape Pakistan should not worry too much.
Indian as a nation do not have fighting sprit on the other hand paksitan have a battle hardened nation and military. Paksitan can crush India if we get out from our old mentality that we are fighting same professional brtish raj army which we fought in 1948,1965 and 1971.
It doesn't make sense to me, why not make it clearJust a thought experiment for you. Substitute Afghanistan for Pakistan, Pakistan for China and India for USA, and see if that makes sense to you.
China has supported Pakistan in the past because interests have usually aligned, but it is delusional to think China will sacrifice its own interests for Pakistan.
