I don't understand what's going on again?

If we're trusting the twitter posts, I'd assume that Taliban aren't as stupid, enough to realize a) they are a landlocked country and most aid/food/trade/means of livelihood comes from Pakistan and b) Pakistan will continue any necessary action to ensure a cessation of terrorist attacks.

Hopefully this means some actual participation (in terms of doing their own part to stop the TTP).

To be fair, it shows the world and neutral audience that Pakistan has at least given peace a chance and tried to formalize an agreement while prioritizint a diplomatic solution.

Their strategic focus remains on posturing against India, which is consistently identified as the primary threat. Should the Afghanistan fail to reciprocate these peace efforts with genuine regards for our security, however, we would be left with no alternative but to resume or continue our current operations.
