How to end TTA's interim rule in Afghanistan, if it comes to war.

Pakistan will start pounding the border with artillery shelling, making the border regions within Afghanistan inaccessible to anyone. Once a no-man’s land has been created, the Pakistan Air Force will target main government offices in major Afghan cities. This will force the TTA regime to abandon the cities and move to the mountains. Then the Pakistan Air Force will bomb the logistical routes to all major cities to deter the TTA regime from entering Kabul and other main urban centers. This will give space for anti-Taliban forces to move into provincial capitals and take control of government in Afghanistan. It will also limit the TTA regime to rural areas and constrain their war resources and financial options.

After this, Pakistan will slow its pace and provide anti-Taliban forces with air support only, thereby reducing the TTA’s capacity.

Phase 3 of this campaign would be political: finding fractures within the TTA and reorganizing the Afghan provincial system into states run by political agents.

This is the face of someone who knows they wasted their time but have to still look busy.

I feel like I am talking to a cow. Are you?

I'm afraid, that might be terminal.

I'm a bit confused by your position.

When you talk about respecting the constitution; I am assuming you are calling for the state (Military establishment) to release the PTI leadership, and having free and fair elections. Fair enough.

But Krash's point is, what is your position on the Afghanistan conflict? Trying to articulate what you *might* be referring to:

a) Are you for no military operations inside Afghanistan, and only dialogue with TTA/TTP/BLA?

b) Are you for limited military operations inside Afghanistan against TTP/BLA, in coordination/collusion with TTA?

c) Are you for extensive military operations inside Afghanistan, targeting TTA/TTP/BLA; as long as it is not done by the Pakistan military at the behest of Trump (US's will to control Bagram airbase again)?

d) Any other option?

It is fluid, shifting to imaginary positions against whatever the army says or does. His priority is steadfast, to serve one political party through whatever masochistic, but hilarious, nonsense he can spit out. He's picked up a couple of buzz words from discussions here and is throwing them around with the pretense of some self-evident wisdom. $5 say he's never read the constitution.

He has nothing to offer beyond unconvincingly pretending that he does. You point that out and he'll starting frothing at the mouth, as he did just now.

Pakistan should stay away from Afghanistan and solve their issue with TTP and BLA through dialogue. Afghanistan is a hostile nation to Pakistan and even the staunchest taliban opposition in Afghanistan will choose taliban over Pakistan.

Always remember you can start a war anytime but you don't choose when it'll end.

Interestingly, the answer is in this post of yours.

You are admitting that "Afghanistan is a hostile nation to Pakistan"

Afghanistan harbors resentment and ill-will towards Pakistan.

Pakistan does not harbor resentment and ill-will towards Afghanistan.

Afghanistan accused Pakistan of funding the Taliban in the 90s and onwards.

Afghanistan's anti-Pakistan activities started from 1947, when they didn't accept the international border, which every country in the world has accepted (except Afghanistan).

Afghanistan's anti-Pakistan activities since 1947:

Despite Afghanistan not accepting the international border and trying to break Pakistan; Pakistan did not impose harsh visa restrictions on Afghan citizens.

India has threatened and has tried to cut off Pakistan's river flows, posing an existential threat to the Pakistani people. India took its lesson from the Israeli playbook on how it treats Palestinians. However, the power asymmetry between Pakistan and India is not like what is between Palestine and Israel.

Pakistan could act towards Afghanistan/Afghans the way India has tried to act towards Pakistan/Pakistanis, and closed off the land border with Afghanistan permanently. Afghanistan is a landlocked country whose economy mostly relies on the ground border with Pakistan; and Pakistan could very easily take actions that could pose an existential threat to Afghanistan/Afghans. But Pakistan does not want that for Afghanistan/Afghans.

India launched Operation Sindoor without any evidence of Pakistan complicity, without even trying to Pakistan. The entire world accepts Afghanistan provides safehaven to the TTP, ISIS, Al-Qaeda factions and poses a threat to Pakistan and its other neighbors, but Pakistan still tried to resolve issues with the Taliban diplomatically.

Pakistan was the only country to open its land border for Afghan citizens when the Taliban overthrew the Ghani government in 2021. India talks big, but has never let 4 million+ Afghans into India the way Pakistan did for Afghans in the 1980s.
