Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

These were limited pre-emptive strikes intended to send a clear message to Kabul. We had already exhausted all diplomatic channels , engaging with Tajikistan, Iran, China, and Russia — which even resulted in a joint statement urging the Afghan interim government to take decisive action against militant groups. Unfortunately, those efforts yielded no meaningful outcome.

With diplomacy failing, this was the only option left on the table, marking what could become the new “normal” in Afghanistan’s security landscape. The next steps may include closing border crossings and initiating the extradition of Afghan refugees.

At present, the TTP has no effective means to deter or stop our airstrikes.

Playing with fire, the Americans couldn't pacify the Taliban in over 20 years, what makes the Pak military think they can? I hope they step up security in key bases, don't want to lose key assets like Erieyes or F16s to suicide attacks.

I don't think we are trying to pacify them

We just want to hurt them,

Their is no reason their should be conflict and enmity with the Afghans, except that we have enmity because the afghanis want it and they want to constantly harm Pakistan

We have done everything to try to calm them down
Hosted millions
Treated them like our own people

They never learn and never change

It's time to aggressively prepare for our enemies, the Hindus in India, the Afghans or the BLA types

If it's war they want them let's take it to them, and make their actions costly

The Bharati DM and their top military commanders have issued an ultimatum to Pakistan: they will wipe her out of the geography and history....

The ethno-terrorist Taliban are sharing the same bed, albeit in the receiving end, with the Hindutva as per their publicly declared official policy: Bharat will fight Pakistan till the Last Afgan....

Every Pak action is now related to mitigating these existential threats to her and is legitimate as per the international law of self defense...

Whole thing seems a rise and repeat from December 2024 when TTP ambushed and killed some soldiers , then Pakistan bombed Paktia in Afghanistan and Taliban responded by shelling the border.

They hit Kabul and I am hearing they are going in for round 3 on some of the border towns. That was just a slap, this is a punch.

Wonder how the IEA munafiqs are going to respond -- will they admit casualties of TTP bastards? Unlikely as it only proves their munafiqat and lies.

Or will they cry rivers about violation of sovereignty.
They're already downplaying this, and not even acknowledging the strikes. They're pretending nothing is happening, and "investigating incidents".

Either They're turning a blind eye to this, because they know they can't do shit.

Or they've given Pakistan the go ahead, mostly because they know they can't do shit, so they may as well get rid of a potential internal threat this way.

Currently unknown, with conflicting accounts.

My opinion is that he was hit, and is likely dead.

The so called audio message was clearly fake.
Even if he did not die, a lot of their leadership might have been taken out, based on the reports. Either outcome is good in my opinion, and both would be an extra win.

Bad comparison. The Americans were foreigners, Pakistan is local. Pakistan has no choice but to fight back.

Let's be clear about this

If the TTP or Taliban respond with suicide bombings or VBIEDs then start taking out villages and areas in Afghanistan with known TTP links

Also go after the BLA villages in Afghanistan

We must have a mountain of old stock, bombs, missiles that we no longer need, might as well use it to level Afghan and BLA areas in Afghanistan

Most importantly, it's a direct message wrapped around a bullet to Delhi: don't mess with Pakistan, and nothing will be left to imagination from now on....

Another angle to this is that it comes soon after the defence pact with Saudi, and i.e. US backing, it could be a demonstration to the US that if we have access to more US hardware, we're willing to take the fight to the Taliban and TTP.
