@Oscar , you don't need any external separatist movement when your own DG and ministers are calling a provinicial government (probably the only legitimate one in the country) practically terrorists and comparing with the other two.

They literally brought PTI into power and now we are discussing this. It's a reality we have observed again and again. Generals just can't make sensible decisions in anything involving Afghanistan or terrorism. This press conference was purely blame game . A lot of his points made sense but in Pakistan nothing can be done without army's approval. Everything he mentioned from poor governance to allowing Afghanis in Pakistan has generals involved making poor decisions at the absolute start and then expecting the corrupt politicians would reverse their poor decisions while in reality they make it 10x worse. It's like how iaf seem to lose all sense when confronting PAF

When has public support or lack there of stopped (or made something) from happening? When anything is really needed by them, it happens. It is always done, no matter how much public wants otherwise.

These are very expensive responses to soldiers dying in ambushes. I am beginning to doubt these airstrikes are linked to any messaging to India or US or Afghanistan. They feel more like face saving by Field Marshal.

This same old blame game has added a phrase to Urdu parlance. It’s called truck ki batti.
