In a nutshell. Give KPK to Afghanistan, the problem is solved temporarily. Then they would venture into AJK and Baluchistan.Jani the problem is that if Afghanistan is sincere with Pakistan we will be sincere back - You know about my old posts so you know where I am coming from. We have lost a lot of good people as I am sure you have on your side.
The Taliban makes empty promises, these promises are never delivered - the Taliban FM is busy taking photos with ambulances and sacks of wheat. Are Afghan so quick to forget who has been helping them all these years?
Pakistan is not blameless - I wrote a detailed post on this in this very thread but I would save you the history lesson. If things are to change then either Taliban government make serious steps to ensure ttp cannot use Afghanistan as a launchpad against Pakistan and Pakistan will reciprocate that or Afghanistan regime continues the status quo.
I had friends in Afghanistan one of whom died when the Taliban took over Kabul - The reason I have become more venomous in recent years is because the overtures coming from not just the Taliban but also Ordinary Afghans has been overtly hostile and odious.
You can only tolerate being called a dog so many times before you lash out.
Did you ever think why doesn't ANA take training from Pakistan Forces, after all Pakistan follows NATO standards and ISAF has already trained ANA, Police and its affiliated militias. Taliban isn't interested in training from PA and doesnt want PA boots on the ground inside Afghanistan but India is welcome. So is Israel (covertly).
