Ok this is not something i support. If we can agree to Indian request of a cease fire, so shall we agree to Afghanistan, and more so.

The difference is that India does not kill people in Pakistan every day, at least not directly, unless there is a war. Afghanistan does on daily basis. Pakistan tolerated it for 20 years and finally had enough.

Unless a buffer zone can be established or Pakistan can ensure TTP leadership is taken care of, it should continue. We cannot continue picking up funerals on daily basis, while Afghans can go back with a ceasefire.

Think of TTP is Afghanistan’s Brahmos. We wouldn’t have cease fire if india continued lobbing missiles at us.

To those who want Pakistan to takeover wakhan corridor (including me), I want to say that it doesn't matter how badly we want to take it over or how badly the afghans deserve such a response. But at the end of the day we can not do it. Because china Have its own plans for Afghanistan and land connectivity between China and Afghanistan is crucial for that.

So no. We can't have wakhan corridor.

Any conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan is a gift to India

Brother, it is not just India. Many other foreign powers - Iran, China, Russia, Saudis, Qatar, UAE, Israel - will use this to expand their influence in Afghanistan. Trump will use this as another opportunity to play peacemaker and get a foothold in Afghanistan. Do we really want an Af-Pak re-hyphenation ?
