Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

Gentle Reminder - Afghanistan started this first attack on September 30, 2025 and other attacks in the past few years after 2021.

Enough is enough

Now would be a perfect time to use up old stock of weapons like the H2/H4 SOWs which are not that useful against India these days(due to better AD), but useful to drop on the Taliban/TTP heads.
Glide bombs are really difficult to intercept though. They are very useful we tried them during 2019

Good to see drones finally being let loosed but for strikes targeting camp jets should be used since drones don't carry big enough punch with their smart Munitions

Indians are thinking SMDA is worthless - that we signed with Saudis

Pakistan army since may is only showing how mighty it is. Proud to be only pakistani. And members calling for brutal attacks should know that pakistan armed forces is not crazy to just bomb. Its bombing only talibs. A sign of professional force.

Sorry Bhai you live in US and have no right to comment since you will never come back or live / serve here.

Bye
the same logic used by land grabbers .. 'These overseas Pakistanis have not returned in decades, so why not make houses at their plots?'

Seems Taliban forgot one crucial fact...

Slow down tiger.

Invade Afghanistan? That would be reckless. Mods and Think Tanks may be the right experts to view it a little more logically.
I would consider that a very very bad option.

My take is that Pakistan has a lot of power but not enough to invade Afghanistan. Because invasion is not just about military might but capability to keep projecting that kind of might for a long duration and deep inside hostile territory.

Let’s assume that Munir does decide to invade and reach Kabul somehow, then what?

Hold on to power? For how long? Does Pakistan have that kind of military and economic resources?

Leave Kabul and pull back? Who would fill that void and would that entity be friendly to Pakistan?

All Pakistani decisions regarding Afghanistan have proven to be strategic disasters till date. It may be a better idea to keep that in mind while planning the next move.

you should send military planes and have them in your country!

you are so concerned!

Optics matter.

The Taliban do too - don't forget that. Now there is no military value in targeting civilians, however we need to attack thier military and strategic targets wherever they are with extreme prejudice. All Afghans hate Pakistan. They don't accept the Durand Line - only through a display of savage power will they respect it.

Musharraf lived abroad too and Bajwa lives abroad now. Two of the leading desi experts responsible state of Pakistan. Please lets leave the bongiya for another thread.

No, if you live in Pakistan and don't agree with him you're anti state.

Terrible idea.

1. It will cost a lot of money and lives to take that territory.

2. The locals will be hostile leading to us facing the same guerilla warfare the British, Soviets and Americans faced.

3. The pukhtun in Afghanistan are just as anti Pakistan as other ethnicities in Afghanistan - maybe more so.

The Afghans have never won a conventional war and never lost a guerilla war. They don't value human life, they live for war. We need to keep them in front of us - not behind us - thays where they stab you from.

Absolutely, if this is targeted strikes, the Afghans will suffer and suffer big

They risk implosion if Pakistan destroys too much equipment, bases or leaders

Then they can all be trapped inside what's left of Afghanistan

But if you invade they will go to guerilla warfare for generations of needs be and that will bleed your resources

Maybe we can eeq out a buffer zone or take wakhan which isn't highly populated

Taliban are now begging for a ceasefire
They don't have much money and winter is coming
So if the conflict goes on, Afghanistan uses us it's fuel reserves
Wastes it's money
Gets it's troops and armour destroyed

Then it's left facing winter and the Afghans will SUFFER

Pakistan has clear objectives, punish them until they come to the negotiation table and TTP, BLA is either totally destroyed or we get oath that they will be controlled you forward

Any violation will lead to strikes beg again
