For the Tajikis, Uzbeks, Hazaras, Turkmen, it's better to recognise the border or else Pashtuns will become more dominant. These people are actually moderate Muslims, I met a few people, nice people. The only reason they have hatred for Pakistan is because we supported Taliban who in turn oppressed these people. We do need to be careful though, the Taliban are a militia but Northern Alliance in power will build an army. Pakistan can bring Turkey Iran and all its neighbours together and support a unity national government, a government which wants to live peacefully and not cause any issues.

They do recognise it and never played into this Durrand line stuff. They don't want to become a tiny minority. They actually are all Sufi inclined Muslims and are at odds with the Taliban interpretation.
Anyway, yes you are spot on by backing the Taliban we lost these people for years.

LOL the blokes kicking the Afghan arse are doing so with Pushto, these clowns don't live in this world😁🤣😁🤣
this is not a geniune PTI account you can look it up it is created by an Indian just like those muft Balochistan accounts

Not happy with the number of soldiers we lost.. 23 is too much.

More to the point - people are still sharing tweets from a Israel paid agent on X who wants to ingratiate himself towards Pakistanis again...

Honestly at this point I give up.
Fog of war. This is mini war imposed by Afghans. ISPR chief should have given atleast one presser since last night to clear the air. In the meantime, these propaganda accounts would run rampant adhering to the algorithm. I think they are trying to inflict higher losses to Afghans , using the daylight, before announcing ours , and calling it a day.....

western side posts are not made in a way those made on india pak border. Another issue is the supply and reinforcement is also very difficult on the western side border due to terrain and no proper roads. otherwise the martyred would be much less.

Twenty-three Pakistani troops have been martyred and 200 Taliban and affiliated terrorists have been killed in border clashes following an attack from the Afghan side, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Sunday.

The military’s media affairs wing said, “On the night of 11/12 Oct 2025, Afghan Taliban and Indian-sponsored Fitna al Khawarij launched an unprovoked attack on Pakistan, along the Pak-Afghan border.”

It added that the “cowardly action, which included fire and a few physical raids,” was aimed at destabilising the border areas to facilitate terrorism, furthering the “nefarious designs” of the terrorists.

“Exercising the right of self-defence, the alert armed forces of Pakistan repelled the assault decisively all along the border and inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban Forces and affiliated Khwarjis,” it said.

Precision fires and strikes, as well as physical raids, were directed against Taliban camps and posts, terrorist training facilities and support networks operating from Afghan territory, including elements linked to Fitna al Khwarij, Fitna al Hindustan and ISKP/ Daesh, the statement added.

“All possible measures were taken to avoid collateral damage and to protect civilian lives,” the statement said.

The ISPR said that as a result of the unrelenting operations, multiple Taliban locations were destroyed along the border.

Providing further details, it said 21 hostile positions on the Afghan side of the border were also briefly physically captured and multiple terrorist training camps, used to plan and facilitate attacks against Pakistan, were rendered inoperative.

“During overnight skirmishes, 23 brave sons of Pakistan embraced shahadat (martyrdom) while defending the territorial integrity of our beloved country against this outrageous action, while 29 soldiers [were] injured.”

According to credible intelligence estimates and damage assessment, it said, more than 200 Taliban and affiliated terrorists have been neutralised, while the number of injured is much higher.

“The infra-structural damages to Taliban posts, camps, headquarters and support networks of terrorists are extensive, all along the border and range from tactical to operational depth,” the statement said.

“The armed forces of Pakistan remain ever ready to protect the territorial integrity, life and property of the people of Pakistan. Our resolve to defend Pakistan’s territorial integrity and to defeat those who threaten our security is unwavering.”
