100 pages of discussions and I'm still searching for someone who can share anaylsis beyond this tactical move of ours.

Military action is only a means of achieving a political outcome. Would really appreciate if someone with foresight can walk us through the mid to long term path available to us.

If after all this, we're back to square one, then what have we achieved really? There has to be *consistent* policy that yields us an outcome we want. Otherwise, our military edge is a just a scoresheet on paper.

Another victory for the enemy is us accepting the status quo in which we continue a cycle of retribution strikes againt each other. And that is where we stand at the moment despite our tactical superiority on the ground.

Is Pakistan seeking to establish a new normal of striking inside Afg (as a routine), bcz the TTP attacks aren't stopping we all know that. If yes, then what will this new normal achieve for us, and can we absorb the costs (political, diplomatic, financial, internal) of such a new normal with Afg?

No self respecting country would have accepted a ceasefire without clear apology
Pakistan knows that it cant handle the international pressure from qatar saudis and cant handle domestic or indian side

We do not need these fake pretending to be Pakistanis while trying to harm the country from within. All such traitors need to be lined up for deportation to the real country they actually love which is afghanistan
Once we start doing that alot of them will change their tune very very quickly

Pakistan closed border crossings with Afghanistan on Sunday, Pakistani officials said, following exchanges of fire between the forces of the two countries.

Afghan troops opened fire on Pakistani border posts late Saturday, with the country's ministry of defence saying this was in retaliation for Pakistani airstrikes in Afghanistan earlier in the week.

Pakistan said that it had responded with gun and artillery fire. Pakistani security officials said that several Afghan border posts were destroyed in retaliatory attacks.

The exchange of fire was mostly over on Sunday morning, Pakistani security officials said. But in Pakistan's Kurram area, intermittent gunfire continued, according to local officials and residents.

Pakistan's two main border crossings with Afghanistan, at Torkham and Chaman, were closed on Sunday, local officials said. At least three minor crossings, at Kharlachi, Angoor Adda and Ghulam Khan, were also closed, local officials said.

There was no immediate comment from Kabul on the closing of the border. Afghanistan's ministry of defence had previously said that its operation had finished at midnight local time.

Are there any new weapons still untested in actual warfare that Pakistan could test on Taliban and Afghans? At least wouldn‘t be a total waste bombing these subhumans in caves. How many days estimate for turning Afghanistan into a parking lot if Pakistan means business? Parking situation in Peshawar isn‘t that good so would highly appreciate new parking space in Afghanistan (bodies of afghans could be used as fundament for the roads)

Give it a rest. Pakistan is acting against a belligerent enemy entity, not against Afghan civilians. Civilian harm is regrettable and will be avoided wherever possible.
