Pakistan is under no illusion of strategic depth. In the modern era even a country like Israel with no strategic depth can defend itself.
Pakistan merely wants a non-interference and cessation of terrorism from Afghanistan, If the Taliban don't listen then the responsibility for the consequences are theirs alone

To be fair, the British did manage to force a border between Afghanistan and British India, and force Afghanistan to give up its foreign policy to the British.

The Afghans like to claim they won against every empire, but the British wreaked them.

Bakshi was being real here but he didn´t calculate that Pakistan would reverse it´s stragetic gains and try to hand Both China and Afghanistan to them on a silver plate. Heck even Bakshi himself could have not envisioned in a 100 million years this 5 years ago.

Example look at Turkey once they gain stragetic depth they maintain and build on it

China just gave J35 briefing to Pakistan 2 days ago and announced giving advanced surveillance tools to Pakistan to eradicate terrorism, just today. Meanwhile they threw Modi out instead of inviting him for the parade.

A day before China helped Pakistan at UNSC, they were shouting that China has insulted Pakistan in UNSC. Next day they were crying why China helps Pakistan at UNSC each time. On 6th May they were shouting that China has abandoned Pakistan. On 7th they were crying that China helped Pakistan on the night of 7th.

That's...not what happened. Pakistan came to a peace deal with them multiple times, and you wanna know what happened? The TTP broke the deals, and at one point almost conquered Islamabad, because the government refused to let the army take action.

The TTP cannot be trusted.

Also, it's already been proven that a huge chunk of the ttp are foreigners, nor Pakistani.

Nonsense. Head of Indian sponsored TTP was targeted in Kabul by Pakistan, all the while Afghans have been insisting TTP leadership is not in Afghanistan. Update your facts.
