why did you remove the rest of the sentence? balance is needed.

Pakistan also is reasonable for the growth of the Taliban in the first place, which it seems has unintended consequences.

in any event, the Afghan Taliban should hand over TTP terrorists to Pakistan or at least keep them under house arrest if they want to be treated seriously. they cannot host terrorists and expect Pakistan not to do anything about it.
Bro, its not that simple, the myth that Pakistan is responsible for creating/growing Taliban is a very simplified view and a misconception in large part. It is just like many people in the world, who wrongly and mistakenly say that Iran is fully responsible for creating Hamas / Hezbollah or for making them grow, etc, just coz its a popular opinion (I am not creating parallels between Hamas and Taliban, just giving it as an example).

Taliban, just like Hamas are a 100% ingrown faction who originally started within Afghanistan, just like all other factions. Pakistan had to support various factions in Afghanistan at times for different reasons (USSR invasion, US Invasion, Indian interference, etc).

So you can pick any faction in Afghanistan today, and Pakistan would have worked with them at some point in time, just on the account of having no other choice and for various complex reasons. Its just that Taliban have been in power a lot recently. But that does not mean Pakistan is responsible for them them either. If that is to be assumed, then you can blame ever single Afghan faction on Pakistan alone, as Pakistan supported them all to help push off the USSR.

There is no halal foreign Jihad in Pakistan even the Taliban themselves banned it publically hence who is it then?

Their head-quarters use to be in Waziristan during the time of Baitullah Mehsud and Hakimullah Mehsud these two gentlemen were Pakistanis and so were all these who came after them

All you need to know is that they are dead meat.

What benefits does Pakistan has for open border with Afghanistan? No sir, we cant have too many Afghani doctors engineers scientists and entrepreneurs.

This is the short sighted thinking why we're in this situation. How many nations (even hostile) around the world have closed borders?

Don't want to jump into this but will do so because of the mental itch.

There is an anthropological theory that Afghans/Pashtoons are a lost tribe of Israelite. I asked a learned Pashtoon colleague from a long time ago about it (His name was Asfandyar Bhittani - unsure if its the same @Asfandyar Bhittani who is on this forum). According to him this indeed is the case and there is a grave of prominent individual (either in KPK or Afghanistan) whom some call father of Pashtoons and the inscription on his grave is in Hebrew. I never bothered to verify this through Google image or general Google search (Edit: AI says it does not appear to be true).

You got it ... no such thing!
It is a narrative seeking relevance... and every dot etches a pre-charted path for those who have carved in their heads.

@Panzerkiel

Some of our PDF personal will find this post painful.

its time some hard questions were to be asked from Pakistan Armed Forces.

this was an intelligence Failure (Again!) of Grand level!

we carried out decapitation strike (Assumption at my end since Govt./Armed forces have not agreed or denied about this)

we should have been ready. unfortunately it seems we were not, how many soldiers have attained Martyrdom? as DG ISPR (23 confirmed) and there are many casualties which will come out . do we realize these are more than Indian attack on Pakistan in May-25.

we should have moved assets on priority before hand. atleast reinforcement of Border post should have been done.

then comes the question of Afghan army movement if it was tracked the why it was not attacked pre-emptively.

today and tomorrow and day after tomorrow we are burying our shaheeds. then some tough decisions and retrospection is required.

Well my view is clear from the day one that peace talks are only for those who want peace and have moral calibre to keep their word.
For ttp I have always advocated complete eradication along with all the sympathisers.
Unlike you I have seen and experienced these horrors with my own eyes. I was in CMH Rawalpindi when people from Wana operation were being brought there. I was a student in that very college whose principal a serving major General lost his life in a suicide bombing. I have zero interest in any peace talks with ttp.
As for your profanity I can say a lot but for some reason I won't.

Funny thing Even for King Julian his most prized possession was his G#nd just like you.
Totally agreed.
For these caveman peace talks = let us get armed and reassemble to initiate a new wave of attacks .
.
Don't know why but we have shown a lot of unwanted restraint while dealing with afgands/ttp .

Sorry but you are completely incorrect. Are you denying Pakistan didn't have (in the past) full on training camps, funding and nurturing from military to ideological?

You may want to read up on history. Pakistans support went beyond just siding with one faction over another.

At least admit it was one of the many blunders from the usual sources that has now blown back.
