Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

Sorry but you are completely incorrect. Are you denying Pakistan didn't have (in the past) full on training camps, funding and nurturing from military to ideological?

You may want to read up on history. Pakistans support went beyond just siding with one faction over another.

At least admit it was one of the many blunders from the usual sources that has now blown back.

I am not denying, but saying that Pakistan had to support them at one point for the lack of any other choice. Yes a blunder for sure ! This is what India is also doing right now out of a lack of options right now !

But then, Pakistan probably did the best of all the worst possible options they had available in Afghanistan in the last 75 years.

I respect your opinion, but not to the point where you declare every single fault as being Pakistan's. 90% of the fault lies with Afghanistan in all of this. Pakistan always had its hands full with India. It would not have ever bothered with Afghanistan if given the opportunity.

Afghanistan is isolated and starving with no access to weapons and support from any external source. Every bullet fired by Afghanistan is one less in their inventory with no hope of replacement.
Biden left a LOT of American weapons behind when he decided to leave Afghanistan in a hurry.

How many members here congratulated themselves, believing America's departure would be to Pakistan's advantage?

Wow interesting!

I notice this 'Kabul Post' tweet is just posting only one post?

Likely fake account by either Pakistani intelligence, or some kid wanting to join in on the anti-taliban wave.

News is coming that Pakistan may have accepted the ceasefire. If true this would be the greatest stupidity. Even this was not needed. The situation before of allowing soldiers to be butchered was better. Why bother with a purposeless useless 1 day war.
they are still attacking i dont think we will stop

Full details:
Troops of Pakistan Army have repulsed another raid by Afghan Taliban. Two vehicles carrying around 15–16 Taliban fighters moved from Turkmanzai Top towards Paloseen village opposite to Kurram.

Anticipating a cross-border raid, Pakistani troops opened fire with machine guns and RPGs, forcing the attackers to flee, abandoning their vehicles. As they ran back towards the Afghan ridge, they were targeted with mortar fire from the Pakistani side.

This speaks to the mentality of Taliban.

They are spending all of their energy on Kurram, knowing well that the population is majorly Shia. To any sympathizers of Taliban, this should show that they are not attacking out of some sense of betterment, but to assert a pure ideological Jihad.

Can you imagine if Allah forbid, what will happen is these people enter the Shia population of Kurram ? There has been a relentless assault on Kurram borer where only Pakistan army is holding them back. People of Kurram are our Pakistani brothers for 75+ years and Each and every one of us needs to stand behind the Army.

People of Kurram are fully supporting Pak army for this reason. Others who are feeling so romantic for Taliban should also understand what this really about, these people will drag any place they capture, back to absolute stone age. Kurram aside, It won't be good for anyone at all wherever these people attack.

Biden didn't leave anything behind. The weapons belonged to the IRoA, and when the IRoA fell, the weapons ended up in the hands of the taliban.

I hate Biden, but this wasn't his fault.

No one expected the IRoA to fall that quickly, not even the taliban.

I'm not sayin every single fault and from my perspective I always see Afghans as our dumber brothers, i.e, if Pakistan has made 10 dumb decisions out of 20 Afghanistan has made 19/20 which is quite a pathetic bar.

I'm just saying the state of a country is never random. If we are in the state we are in it's due to some dumb and brash decisions from our military and I would hate to see it continue.

Similarly, for Afghanistan to be in the state it is today it is due to the absolute mindless stances and decisions they've took year after year. They can't just blame Pakistan or anyone they're one of the worst countries in the world and that isn't "random".

But since my interests are in Pakistan I'm going to criticize Pakistan's decisions more naturally.

How is this relevant now? Kindly keep on topic.

We are not needing history lessons.

No point engaging he will derail the discussion. Please report future off topic posts.

I think they just realized Pakistan doesn´t seek friendship with Kabul. Kabul will be forced to making friends elsewhere at this point

and who is looking to make friends with TERRORISTS.......terrorists that don't want their women/girls to have education or employment or status in soceity?

Tell me who is wanting to go that?? Is Syria looking to do so?
