Is this for real?

Its not.

Its a Pakistani strike on Talib positions.

On a side note, I'm actually quite impressed by grok's ability to speak other languages so clearly, and with style.

I know its a much complex issue and debate but here are my two cents:

After the fall of Ghani regime Pakistan went in with full support for TTA, asking in return no safe heaven for TTP/BLA. Obviously that didnt happen. Now I think it was due to two main reasons.
First, TTA wanted to have some sort of blackmail tool against Pakistan for their own agendas( trade and security agreements, aid etc etc).
Second, TTA just absorbed previous afghan regime policy of not recognizing the durand line and generally rascist and ethno-nationalistic view of Pakistan.

In the past four years Pakistan tried every possible trick, but the afghanis not only refused to cooperate they actively begin to aid the TTP against Pakistan.
Principally im against this war, but the afghanis left us with no options.

There isnt going to be any major ground incursion, or sustained air campaign, the is no need. The current TTP( recently eliminated) was unwiling to cease hostilities, now that they're enroute to hell we hope the next guy isnt as much retarted, although if you are TTP member there isnt much hope.

The new policy, imo( im a nobody have zero "sources" etc etc), is of perpetual precison strikes against TTP/BLA leadership in afghanistan untill they practically surrender.

This new approach of IBOs in Pakistan and decapitation strikes in afghanistan is very good. Given our resources and threat environment wrt india there is no need to keep our western border constantly hot.

Your analysis makes a good start, but it underestimates the complexity of the intelligence war being waged in Afghanistan. With agencies from the CIA and Mossad to R&AW and the KGB operating in Kabul, groups like ISIS and TTP are not merely independent actors; they are proxies. To make matters worse, the Afghan Taliban itself is heavily infiltrated by these foreign agencies.

Given this reality, a cease-fire cannot be a simple truce. It must be a binding agreement that forces Afghanistan to cut all ties with terrorist groups, dismantle their networks, and provide a firm guarantee that its territory will not be a launchpad for attacks on Pakistan. Crucially, this must include the long overdue recognition of the Durand Line as the international border.

I add another side note I wonder if Deep down inside Grok's AI conscience he might be a fan and admire Pakistan that's why such fun use of language with smiley at the end probably realize Pakistan is fighting good fights this year.. 😂

It is, but apparently most of these are FC, whom (if we're being honest) are glorified border police. They're lightly armed and equipped.

It's like the new york police fighting a war against heavily armed cartels who use tanks, artillery, and drones.

Considering that, and the fact that they were the ones to do most of the fighting and capturing of Talib positions, I'd call this a success.

this is concerning how our boys were martyred in such huge numbers.....i assume they did not have adequate protection which seems very much necessary.
Even one of our soldiers dying at the hands of these terrorists is too much!
we need to unleash hell on those talibunnies

Ive been screaming for Pakistan to standardize body armor for more than a decade now.

There was some signs of it happening during the Raheel Shareef era, but I believe it was abandoned when Bajwa came to power in favour of investing in low tier drones instead.

Questionable authenticity.
Plenty of such videos available from Ukraine Russia war.
Taliban also posting similar videos claiming they used FPV

Why? Pakistan does not have drones? The Taligaans may have acquired short range drones from india russia or iran via smuggling.

I'm pretty sure this was posted on official Pakistani military channels.

Its as authentic as you can get.

This turned out to be an even littler skirmish than with the Hinds, but people have been posting non-stop as if some spectacular war is going on. I ended up wasting my whole day trying to catch up. The reality is that nothing much has happened since last night.

I'll just post a few thoughts:

1. Too much hatred has been posted here, against Afghans, Pashtuns, and many more. There's no need for it. This is supposed to be a war against terrorists, not the Afghan nation. We don't need to humiliate them since we'll have to live with them permanently and there's no need to create perpetual hatred.

2. One of the most alarming suggestions made by otherwise patriotic posters is to bring in the Americans into Afghanistan. That's the most retarded thing I've ever heard. Bring them in so that they can bring back the Indians/Israelis to create mayhem in Pakistan for the next 20 years? Craziest thing I've ever heard.

3. I’d heard many days ago that Pakistan will be doing regime change inside Afghanistan. If that happens, I hope it doesn’t become a case of “Asmaan say tapkey, khajoor mein atkay’ (jump from the frying pan into the fire). That’s what has been happening in the past. Suppose we install a Tajik/Hazara government. They will promptly give Baghram Airbase to the Americans, guerilla war will restart, and we’ll be back to the old situation.

4. Now that this was started, Pakistan should have killed all the TTP, but especially their Indian handlers. That should be an ongoing process.

5. Other than that, I predict governor’s rule in KP in the next few days. This war had nothing to do with it.
